never found such an old-school progressiv, extraordinary online shop – against all trends. WOW – like it very much: less photos, no, nearly none photos, but excellent illustrations and, believe me, very funny videos. the stuff is very cheap – take the workboot section: compared to f.ex. workboots from WESCO, WHITES, DANNER or RED WING SHOES. and the best: believing the customers ratings the items they sell are really good quality products. ej

WOLF vs GOAT | dandy work pant goes chino

first time i saw the DANDY WORK PANT last autumn at FARINELLI’S. very nice, hm, a work pant for 220 bucks? now checking some blogs, i stumbled over a sneak peek by WOLF vs GOATs: there will be not another work pant but a new chino you’ll get in different colours. The chinos are expected to go into production in February and FARINELLI’S are hoping they will be in their hands, ready to sell, by the end of the same month. FYI: Wolf vs. Goat is the culmination of over twelve years of experience in the fashion industry by designers Mauro Farinelli (Farinelli’s owner) and Heather Karpoff.
beside, at FARINELLI’S you get the new WOLVERINE 1000 MILE BOOTs. nice shop. ej

BARBOUR | Tokito Yoshida “TO KI TO BEACON“ Collection

there they are: at volls.de > differnet styles, different colours. the pics show just  three of i think at least five different styles/colours. other pics will follow. you get this highly limited edition the first time at volls; the BARBOUR collaboration was very successful last season, now it is continued with this slightly lighterweight summer versions –  with a lot of nice and sometimes functional details – japanse d’artisan work! ej

ALDEN vs. RED WING

i love most RED WING SHOES, especially the classics and the limited japan editions. i love the ALDEN INDY BOOT. now there will be a hybrid from both of them? form your on opion … i think the ALDEN MOC TOE 6 inch is very nice but expecting not a nice price. but this should not be a K.O. criterium, we all know what ALDEN stands for. watching the comments on the YOU_HAVE_BROKEN_THE_INTERNET blog these ALDENS will be a big success. BUT some say the classic INDY BOOT or the classic RED WINGS themselves would be the real deal … nice discussion. ej
