LTG FAVORITES #73 | NIKE ID RUNNING SHOES

after breaking the 500 km mark in between 4 months intensive running and documenting the runs i decided to order a NIKE ID running shoe. after 3 weeks order time i got it. i was really excited how the shoes looks like … PERFECT. i designed my LUNARGLIDE+ 4 in bright orange/red combined with a black/white sole and a white swoosh. but the best is my name on the tongue. it is possible to place 4 letters on each tongue – i do not need more for my complete name. yesterday i wore it the first time and i ran a half marathon distance. it was a brave decision to do this distance with a brand new shoe, but i must tell you that the LUNARGLIDE+ 4 is really comfortable, much better than LUNARGLIDE 3. i have had absolutely no problems with my feet. pics | LTG

LIFE TIME GEAR | FAVORITES #63 | RUNNING

after my 3rd bad roadbike crash in april 2011 and my 7th surgery because of road biking i quit it and sold my carbon TIME ASSOS racer. i still have one SEROTTA OTTROTT but this one is stripped down. so i started to run last summer in august with some breaks because of too much trouble with my broken clavicle and shoulder when running. but after i got the metal out this april running began to make fun. it is still sometimes hard because of some weights too much but it goes better and better. i enjoy wearing my running shirts because nearly everyone who watches on my shirt gets a smile, a laugh or shows me his thumb up – great. and i love the NIKE running app which shows me some running data – very interesting and informative. this awesome summer morning i did a run with PETER my copywriter. we often run together for brainstorming or briefing talks. we call this job’n’jog – it makes fun and sense. enjoy your weekend! pics | LTG, nike running app

ASPAHLTGOLD | 2YEARS NIKE AIR MAX 1 ID

in no case i am a sneaker lover. i just got some basics: nike vintage challengers and jack purcells.
but to post this news means a great pleasure for me. my friend DANI, owner of ASPHALTGOLD
here in darmstadt, germany, celebrates in november 2010 2 years ASPHALTGOLD with an
anniversary AIR MAX 1 ID. i do not know nearly nothing about sneakers, so DANI explain yourself:
“For two-year anniversary in November, Nike Germany gave me the opportunity to tinker an
anniversary Air Max 1 ID. Result is a colorway which clearly communicates the shops name.
Because asphaltgold was born in winter,  robust material should be used. Main part of the shoe
exists of high-quality boot leather. The white midsole,  the mesh upper and the soft suede
quarter panel were chosen classical. The shoe should not forget where he come from *J*.  The
anniversary Air Max 1 ID is limited to 10 pairs. Each pair with an individual serial stiching on the
heelcaps and embedded in an elaborate packaging. The Shoes are not for sale… but there
are some other opportunities (check sneakerized.com or the January Issue of the streetwear
today magazin).”
