my son LEVI and me finished our next LEGO project: the SOPWITH CAMEL BIPLANE, a classic of aviation history, one of the most recognizable british single-seat biplanes. for us it was easy to stick the bricks and build it up compared to the V8 SUPERCAR from LEGO TECHNIC. the classic LEGOs are much easier in their complexity, but it was not so easy to put on all wires which have some real functions. the plane features a lot of details like a rotating propeller and engine cylinders, hinged tail rudder, functioning wing ailerons and tail flaps that can be controlled from the cockpit. it includes rare dark green, dark tan and metallic silver elements. the replica is 15″ long and a wingspan of over 19″. pics | LTG &
