RED WING SHOES | A CLOSER LOOK TO THE IRON RANGER
jump to nice FREE/MAN blog to take a closer look at RWS IRON RANGER. this style is by far not my favorite. for me this boot is too commercial – i see it so often the last two years. but it is interesting what F/M has to say about. pics | Darian Hocking
GRENSON x BARBOUR | COLLABORATION IN SHOES
very nice and interesting collaboration between two of british fashion’s most enduring brands. endclothing offers three different BROGUE modells. my favorite is the light brown one – strange.

this is one of the most beautiful RED WING SHOES i ever saw. the 9871 is one of three other rebuilt RED WING boots from the 1950s with the original special leather and its color. the color is called “RUSSET GOLD SEQUOIA”. beside the leather the boot shows a lot of very nice details. sold in an original IRISH SETTER box. just offered by japanese web stores and strictly limited by RED WING JAPAN. pics | THREEWOOD

RED WING SHOES | NEW SPECIAL STYLES LAUNCHED
news directly from the europe RED WING SHOES central: 3 new RED WING SPECIALS just arrived. RWS says: “After a successful launch in Japan, three special pairs of boots will be sold exclusively at Red Wing Shoe stores in Europe this fall/winter season. This special launch consists of two 8“ Round Toe’s and a Steel Toe Engineer. First released in 1955, the Round Toe with style number #708 was initially developed for work. So, considering that Red Wing’s work boots were originally made with heavy cork soles, the lightness of the lightweight cushion crepe sole surprised many workers at that time. The #2940 uses the 708’s leather from its latter period, Oro-Russet. #2941 uses Dark Chocolate “Cache” which is similar to the 708’s leather as presented in 1955. The 2972 steel toe Engineer boot, originally designed for train engineers, is a true heavy-duty boot. It comes in Copper Rough & Tough leather, on an oil resistant neoprene cord outsole and protects your feet with a steel toe cap. These 3 exclusive pairs of boots are available in Red Wing’s Stores in Amsterdam, Berlin, Frankfurt and Hamburg.”
i love the fifties round toe work boot style most. kami, please take away a #2940 in 9.5D for me! thx.

HOWLIN BY MORRISON | @ volls.de
it’s always nice to discover new labels in blogs or online shops. but it is pretty nicer if you have the chance to see and feel the stuff live. so it happens with HOWLIN BY MORRISON. KLAUS from volls.de got a great delivery of their new collection and i love it. he says: “Founded 1981 as a family driven company, the sons Jan and Patrick Olyslager decided to inject a new impulse into the label and created Howlin by as a playful and more progressive counterpart of the classic touched Morrison. Full of colour and somehow ironic the way of manufacturing remains traditional, the collection offers more inspiration by fantasy, fitting and pattern. ” all pieces are quit nice and you’ll find much more at volls.de. below there is an informative article about KLAUS and volls.de from german TEXTILWIRTSCHAFT. hit the link below the pic and you will get a readable bigger size of it.
