THE HEAD CAT | LEMMY, SLIM JIM PHANTOM & DANNY B. WALK THE WALK TALK THE TALK

i missed the release of this damn f***in rockin record on the 21st of june this year. even i did not know
that the trio is still together since they made their first record in 2000; i thought that this was a one record
project. “WALK THE WALK TALK THE TALK“ meanwhile is the third record of LEMMY (motörhead),
SLIM JIM PHANTOM (the stray cats) & DANNY B. (rockats, 13 cats, lonesome spurs). it is short, dirty
and noisy. pure rock’n’roll. i love the voice of LEMMY singing r’n’r songs. damn, they will play only one
show in germany this year: berlin at the 18th of october. pics | found on REVERBNATION.com, myspace THE HEADCAT

LIFE TIME GEAR | PRIVATE FAVORITES #22 “RED WING SHOES THONG / FLIP FLOP“

this is my RWS ORO-IGINAL line up. it is a pitty that there is no oxford colored in this beautiful cognac brown. there is missing an IRON RANGER i’ve sold last year to my friend PeZi because of cleaning up my stressed cupboard – too many boots … but really exotic: the RED WING THONG or FLIP FLOP bought some years ago in the states. these are fantastic for really hot summer days or holidays at the sea. i just searched the web if those are still available: i think NO. RW called this style ALIBI made of earth full grain leather. soft leather with goodyear welt stitching. very special: the great burnished RWS logo to the foodbed. the genuine RWS crepe outsole is lighter and more flexible than the original here seen on the 875 and 877 styles. bad pics | Life Time Gear

LIFE TIME GEAR | PRIVATE FAVORITES #21 “PHOTOGRAPHY OF JIM DOW“

great style! words by the CLARK GALLERY: “JIM DOW’s photographs focus on the passage of time as
it is recorded in landscapes from north dakota to great britain to argentina. using an 8 x 10 inch view
camera,  DOW turns his lens to roadside signs, aging buildings and interiors that feel locked in another
era. his images honestly record the scenes before his camera,  avoiding sentiments of nostalgia while
paying tribute to marks made to the land by current and past residents a leading american photographer.
DOW pushes his viewer to reconsider familiar surroundings and discern the beauty and cultural history
hidden in a north dakota car wash,  argentinean barbershop or british convenience store.” pics | JIM DOW
