MAX RAABE & PALAST ORCHESTER

yesterday night i saw at DARMSTADTIUM one of the best concerts i’ve ever seen: MAX RAABE with his sensational PALAST ORCHESTER. i joined the concert with my mum. it was my birthday present for her and at the same time i made me present, too. the great performance, virtuosic musicians, an unbelievable relaxed atmosphere – in one word: wonderful. the clips are not from yesterday evening but we heard and saw it like this – awesome. pics | around the web

HERNING; compared to the last years i could find just a few new blog entries about the things the danish company will do. so i was happy when KLAUS from volls.de told me that he got new stuff. all the classics are still manufactured with genuine knitting machinery made in germany by STOLL. all pieces have their own history which is grounded years ago. so the AMALGAM CARDIGAN, one of my absolute favorite pieces, was first issued in 1952. below you’ll find just a few pieces of the stock at volls.de. these are my favs. pics | volls.de

wow, this morning i opened my PORTLAND GENERAL STORE WHISKEY  WET SHVAE JELLY the first time. unbelievalble: it smells like a soft smooth bourbon. great wet shaving! with the colognes it is the same. they smell so unique and distinctive. PGS say: “Portland General Store colognes are inspired by recipes we’ve found from the 1920s and ‘30s. Our all-natural ingredients are a blend of jojoba oil,  denatured alcohol,  CO2,  absolutes and essential oils—and each scent is blended by hand in small batches. yesterday i did a short trip to FRANKFURT to visit KAMI at B-74. it was a diverting afternoon and again the spirit of the B-74 impressed me so much – it was about 5 months ago when i went there for the last time. if you ever go to frankfurt this shop is a MUST-VISIT. similar i imagine the FREE & EASY shop in TOKIO – so rugged and aesthetic heritage. beside you’ll find at B-74 the greatest european FILSON collection. bad pic | LTG
