MUSCLE CAR STAMPS | 1970s CHEVELLES SS, HEMI ‘CUDA, DODGE CHARGER & CO: FREEDOM, ADVENTURE AND BURNING RUBBER

this new MUSCLE CAR stamp set is the next one in the series “AMERICA ON THE MOVE” which started in 2005 with sport cars of the 50s. the second in 2008 was a set with classic tail-fin cars “FINS AND CHROME”. the actual muscle car pictures were made by TOM FRITZ, a californian artist who is specialized in car paintings. US POSTAL is advertising the stamp set with the slogan “FREEDOM, ADVENTURE AND BURNING RUBBER” – great! the stamps have no value – the print FOREVER means that they can be used without a time limit. one stamp has the price of 46 cent, the so called FIRST-CLASS-RATE for usual letters or postcards. even if the price will raise the stamps can be used. pics | spiegel.de _ paintings | TOM FRITZ
