but to post this news means a great pleasure for me. my friend DANI, owner of ASPHALTGOLD
here in darmstadt, germany, celebrates in november 2010 2 years ASPHALTGOLD with an
anniversary AIR MAX 1 ID. i do not know nearly nothing about sneakers, so DANI explain yourself:
“For two-year anniversary in November, Nike Germany gave me the opportunity to tinker an
anniversary Air Max 1 ID. Result is a colorway which clearly communicates the shops name.
Because asphaltgold was born in winter, robust material should be used. Main part of the shoe
exists of high-quality boot leather. The white midsole, the mesh upper and the soft suede
quarter panel were chosen classical. The shoe should not forget where he come from *J*. The
anniversary Air Max 1 ID is limited to 10 pairs. Each pair with an individual serial stiching on the
heelcaps and embedded in an elaborate packaging. The Shoes are not for sale… but there

it is still snowing and very cold in middle germany near frankfurt/main. my favorite parka
is still in revision but my buddy KAMI from B74 gave me another LIFE TIME GEAR piece:
a SPIEWAK N3A PARKA from the golden fleece series. great stuff: lightweight and comfortable
but very warm. it works great with the quilted POST OVERALLs vest. VOLLS got a lot of
POST O’ stuff two weeks ago. is there another shop in germany who sells this great stuff
from NYC? i don’t think so. but the best for deep snow walking are my WHITE’S HATHORN
SMOKEJUMPER with their heavy vibram trekking sole – these boots are what i call
LIFE TIME GEAR!

FREEWHEELERS is a company from people who worked for
THE REAL McCOY. it is a bit confusing because they call
themselve BOOTLEGGERS REUNION, too. anyway … they
do great clothing from the turn of the 19th century to the early
40s. the next days i will show some amazing pieces starting
today with two work pants.

this is one of the craziest customized workboots i ever saw. of course, i found it on a japanese shopsite.
i can’t help, but for me, this boot fits very good for christmas time. most part of this customized WESCO
jobmaster is made of red wood rough out leather. i think the other leathers are from gusset, burllap
and backstay are made of smooth leather sorts. the boot is a lace to toe, 10″ height and has a vibram
#0075. it is unvbelievable but this extraordinary workboot costs about 177.500 YEN or 1.600 EUROs.
respect for this – the boot is sold out!
