this was may first WHITE’S BOOT ever: a classic SEMI-DRESS. i built this boot for my own at BAKER SHOES in 2007. it was a bit strange and very exciting because the boot was really expensive compared to all my RED WINGs and i did not know anything about the fit. in 2007 ask some one for WHITE’S BOOTS in germany: nobody knew this great traditional boot maker from spokan, washington. time changed; the last 6 years brands like VIBERG, WESCO and WHITE’S became well known in europe. but boots of these labels are still expensive and not pushed by distribution. good to know, so they will never get a mainstream products. beside, the higher prices of these boots are okay indeed. if you ever wear a WHITE’S you will feel the price of it: made of heavy and best leathers, solid and lifetime built, most comfortable – this is what i call LIFE TIME GEAR! in germany you get WHITE’S BOOTS at the BOOTERY at VATER&SOHN in hamburg, germany. pics | LTG

found a great looking vintage WESCO JOBMASTER at japanese HOPESMORE auction site. that classic work boot is rebuilt and desinfected. it has a doubled VIBRAM #430 sole and no size marks. they say it must be about a US 12.5E. the current highest bid is 17.800; there are 19 hours left to get this wonderful boot. pics | HOPESMORE
awesome WESCO JOBMASTER in classic beige suede and vibram #100. i like the white stiches and laces in combination with the silver hardwear. the toe cap is so awesome. available at japanese EMPTY GARAGE. pics | Empty Garage
WESCO JOBMASTER redwood, regular toe, 6” height, vibram #1010 sole JM07.
WESCO BOSS in a redwood + brown leather combination, 10” height, double midsole, steeltoe,
vibram 430 sole. great extraordinary engineer boot!
nice to know, clear scheme, easy to keep in mind. ok, RED WING SHOES founded in 1905 was in mind,
having two centennial models in my cupboard. the others? THOROGOOD is the oldest brand? the VIBERG
boot manufacturing ltd. is missing; they make boots since 1931.
this is one of the craziest customized workboots i ever saw. of course, i found it on a japanese shopsite.
i can’t help, but for me, this boot fits very good for christmas time. most part of this customized WESCO
jobmaster is made of red wood rough out leather. i think the other leathers are from gusset, burllap
and backstay are made of smooth leather sorts. the boot is a lace to toe, 10″ height and has a vibram
#0075. it is unvbelievable but this extraordinary workboot costs about 177.500 YEN or 1.600 EUROs.
respect for this – the boot is sold out!
some weeks ago i posted some WESCO smoke jumper. here are WHITE’s
BOOTS smoke jumper variations. really great stuff. i found just one dealer
located in europe but he has just full sizes and this will not work with
everybody’s feet: it’s Mr. Mudd & Mr. Gold in stockholm, sweden.
but don’t hesitate to order with BAKER’S SHOES – it works very well.
