yesterday i went to AKRAM c/o KLAR, darmstadt, germany, to get a new eyewear case. i knew that he got his MAKR order from AMTRAQ and i am searching since a long time for a practical case where to put all my different glasses inside. a problem was always the big fat DITA KINGSTON. now even this beloved “monster” got its garage. i took the case in saddle tan leather; exciting how it will look like when aging – i think absolutely perfect. the case has a snap front closure is hand and machine sewn, hand edge painted and polished and made of HORWEEN® leather. hurry up to get your case, because there are just a few left … pics | LTG

damn, it was so hot yesterday – nearly 40°C in the shadow! but for a BULLIT cargo bike enthusiast this is not a problem; i have enough room to store cold drinks in my bike … so i joined the first BULLIT CARGO BIKE MEETING DARMSTADT which was organized by MARCUS STOECKEL c/o TWENTY INCH and his staff. thx for this, hope that there will be a second meeting soon. we did a short ride through the nearer odenwald and finished our tour at HOFGUT OBERFELD, where a vintage tractor meeting was – good choice of location by the way. about 10 darmstadt BULLIT-bikers were missing because of holidays and other commitments. hope we will be complete at the second meeting and maybe there are some new BULLIT fans with us in the nearer future riding the BEST BIKE OF THE WORLD! you found OLLI THE BARBER on the pics? yeah, the man with the cool custom NIRVE e-bike … pics | LTG

one of my all-time favorites: DANNER’s CLASSIC LIGHT. for me this lace-to-toe boot is a DANNER icon. i do not know if my boot is still offered in combination with the rough VIBRAM KLETTERLIFT outsole. i have the feeling that this DANNER boot is changing from a classic hiking boot to a lifestyle product. remembering 2012 BREAD & BUTTER i saw some CLASSIC LIGHTS and MOUNTAIN LIGHTS at the DANNER stall in different color and sole combinations. some nice stuff, sometimes a bit too colorful. but i like DANNER for remembering their heritage and go their way like other traditional shoe & boot makers do. i use the CLASSIC LIGHT mainly for hiking and in winter or at bad weather conditions. this boot’s name is program: so comfortable and lightweight and at the same time so durable with great traction and stability on both wet and dry surfaces. a perfect companion for all your needs! pics | LTG
