AMTRAQ | DISTRIBUTION | #03 SPORTSWEAR REG.

yet another company distributed by UWE’s AMTRAQ: Sportswear reg. A young italian company, born in 2008, influenced by used american apparel from gyms, military and workwear – from the 30s to the early 80s. i did not see anything live but the stuff on the pics UWE sent me looks really authentic with a lot of love for details – i like this style very much. all pieces are produced with original fabrics and prints; the labels and hangtags are hand stamped. and very special – good idea, because i love limited stuff: every season there will be 1 shirt und 2 t-shirts hand-painted, delivered in a special box – strictly limited. exciting. UWE, the LAMBCHOP cards are stored in my cupboard. hope to see your showroom before the gig. pics | AMTRAQ

BOOT OF THE DAY | #115 | VINTAGE RED WING ENGINEER MOTORCYCLE BOOT

i think this tall 17″ engineer boot is rare. me, i did not see often a RED WING engineer boot with this height. it is an eBay offer, that now reached the $44,00 mark. the seller found a number which could be an advise for the RWS style: D27391 – i do not know … the boot and the creep sole are rugged but seem to be still in good condition, marked with a size 9.5 D. pics | ebay seller jcisjunk

i got this car as a toy when i was about 6 or 7 years old. a dream of a car this days for me. the equipment was so useful for an agent and full of creative ideas. mostly i loved the ejection seat. even go to cinema as an eight year old boy to watch 007 was just a dream. no chance. these days films like that were free to watch up from 12 years. still i love this car. so high tech for its time 40 years ago so smiling about that innocence today – great. time changes. pics | XAXOR.com

great ebay find today: vintage W.C. RUSSEL MOCCASIN CO, boots in a 9/9.5. rugged but good lookin’, hand made in berlin, wisconsin. great combination of heavy duty brass talon back zippers and adjustable buckle straps. the crepe soles are in a really good condition and the leather looks nice, too. 4 days are left and the boots start at $99,99. take a look! pics | ebay > tamars-treasures

the evening time was running through so fast. just a few “SAUER GESPRITZE” two shots of STETSON WHISKEY … STETSON? i have to ask KAMI for the whiskey: it was STETSON labelled, genial smooth and its caramel taste was awesome: i want more of this! meeting a lot of friends and got to know some new friends, especially ESTHER, WHYTSE and MATTHIJS from the european RED WING HERITAGE headquater were so kind, wonderful, funny and liable – great! i have had a lot of interesting talks about boots, RWS and some other unimportant things that make life so livable if you understand what i mean … beside there was the exhibition: great stuff to look at and to read the stories. thx the RED WING STORE FRANKFURT TEAM for the evening. bad pics | LTG made with my new mini LUMIX with the wrong tune-up – damn …

HELLBRAND LEATHERWORKS | PANERAI SHELL CORDOVAN NATO WATCH STRAP

months ago i saw a blogpost from my friend JUNICHI c/o fortalitia-54 about belts made by HELLBRAND LEATHERWORKS. never heard before about them. i ordered two belts with a ring buckle. i can tell you: absolute perfect d’artisan leather works. checking their site last week i discovered that they are doing NATO WATCH STRAPS for PANERAI with corresponding wrist sizes. hard to find and very expensive. HL offers these wonderful straps made of genuine HORWEEN SHELL CORDOVAN for $130. damn. i ordered two of them. yesterday EDWARD c/o HELLBRAND LEATHERWORKS sent me pics of my handmade straps: the natural and dark brown ones in the pics below. the black one he made for his self – good choice, too. thank you ED for best advise and patience during the order process ;-)) it is always a pleasure to do business with you! till then … pics | Hellbrand Leatherworks
