SPRING SUMMER 2019 COLLECTION OF MANIFATTURA CECCARELLI

For Spring’19 Giuliano Ceccarelli introduced a new lighter dry wax cotton which is made by Halley Stevensons in Dundee, Scotland (since 1864). Material is fully water repellent but breathable. Left side ›› a modern version of the Iconic Field jacket half lined. Light and packable. Right side ›› the summer version of the successful Fisherman Parka unlined and packable.

Another material for spring is Broken Twill in a mix of  76% cotton & 24% linen. Supersoft and cool hand with a slight shine. The linen fibres give a slightly ‘crinkled’ loo. Ideal for warm summer days. Half lined work blazer (green) and work pant over a chambray work shirt in 100 cotton.

Cotton Bomber Blouson in navy dry wax cotton half lined with cotton lining. 2-way front zipper. Soft elastic rib knit at collar, waits and cuffs.

Field jacket inspired by the iconic M43 Jacket of the US Military in Cotton Herringbone over Work pant in Cotton&Linen Comfort fabric.

TELLASON TRUCKER JACKET | FALL WINTER 2019

Some amazing news from Tellason ›› they will bring back the Trucker Jacket in corduroy for next fall. Now made in a fully sustainable eco-cotton fabric by the German work-wear mill Kindermann. Second color will be Vanilla. Available in stores August 2019. For stockists check Amtraq Distribution.

TELLASON NEWS | THE CLAMPDOWN SHIRT “SALT & PEPPER” SELVEDGE + THE BANDANA 3 PACK

The guys from TELLASON Pete and Tony  – the makers of the one and only denim I wear since 4 years: GUSTAVE 14.75 oz. Sometimes I think that this thing was just made for me 😉 – did a new Shirt, which also could be an absolute favorite of my Life Time Gear collection. The CLAMPTON SHIRT is a TELLASON icon. It is a classic workwear styled shirt not only because of the look and the aesthetic but also because of its functional details. It is made in San Francisco of finely woven “Salt & Pepper” 7.5 oz Japanese selvedge – raw and unwashed. This CLAMPDOWN has so nice details like the triple needle stitching on the sides and underarm seams and these wonderful selvedge details at the side gussets and under the pocket flaps –I love this! Don’t forget the Corozo buttons and the TELLASON pencil you’ll get with the shirt. A great addition is the new BANDANA-3-PACK including a red, white and navy one, made of 100 cotton in the USA and printed in Oakland, California. The size is 21″ x 21″. Every bandana has another printing: The “CLASSIC” in navy, the „GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE” and the “FLETCH” dedication. This one shows quotations from the film “FLETCH” … an interesting idea and good looking too! I like the typography on the bandana a lot … this is something different compared to a “normal” bandana. 1ST PAT-RN FALL/WINTER 2016 | ADVANCED WORKWEAR DESIGNED AND CRAFTED IN ITALY

I am really happy to show you some looks of the upcoming 1ST PAT-RN collection for this years Fall/Winter season. As a constant reader of LTG blog you must know that I own several pieces of 1ST PAT-RN and that I love the stuff Cristiano Berto and Silvia Piccin design and produce. The F/W collection presents a blazer using the iconic “Cavalry di Maglia” fabric in its blue navale color with naval brass gold finish buttons and beside there are two new “Tweed di Maglia” fabric concepts in a superior wool/cotton blend – looking great! The collection continues redesigned military and utility styles. Minimalist and pragmatic, always with a perfect view for details and most care of stitching and producing. The chosen fabrics offer these workwear and military styles a modern approach. For the F/W 2016 collection they used two new materials, a piece dyed moleskin, with a fade and worn out look after washing and a new 13,1 oz. Japanese technical indigo denim, with a “reactive dyed yarn”.” Exciting to see the stuff live at AMTRAQ Distribution, Frankfurt.

1ST PAT-RN VITTORIO VENETO BLU NAVALE JACKET

This 1ST PAT-RN jacket is for sure one of my most beloved pieces. It is manufactured in Veneto, Italy, from the iconic and exclusive “Cavalry di Maglia” fabric, the backbone of 1ST PAT-RN. They offer an alternative woven knitted fabric which keeps the shape due to a special jersey instead of a woven lining. I love the mix of the casual fabric and the timeless, classic cut with these wonderful copper buttons issued from Italian Navy supplier on the front and cuffs. – inspired by heritage workwear and military style. THE LANZA JACKET by 1ST PAT-RN | INTERNATIONAL TRAD MEET ITALIAN WORKWEAR

Last week I got a big parcel from UWE E MAIER c/o AMTRAQ DISTRIBUTION. What a surprise, he send me the 1ST PAT-RN LANZA JACKET. What an indigo beauty! I was, no I am restless excited about this 1960s Italian work wear inspired jacket. The LANZA is made in Italy of a double indigo selvedge denim. The fit is classical perfect without any needles “Schnick Schnack”, but so nice details like the selvedge seams inside and the horn buttons. It features one button flap chest pocket, 2 lower inset pockets, adjustable cuffs, rounded collar with a detachable throat tab, rear cinch and selvedge detail on the inside placket. It was delivered unwashed –  so the photos I did show the Jacket unwashed. While i am writing this lines LANZA gets its first reversed side wash – cold and light. Because of its nice indigo dying it colors slightly even when I did the photos.The jaakcet is available @ VMC, LowDownondenim, Zenit, JeansLife and The Bureau Belfast, where I got the 2 pics which show the washed LANZA – THX! I am really impressed by this great 1ST PAT-RN stuff – love this stuff expecting some more pieces next time. Christian Berto does a great job.

RAW DENIM, BEER, BOOTS, BIKES, GIN, TALKIN’, MEETING FRIENDS @ 5TH MAENNERABEND AT BREMERCIH JEANS, ILLINGEN, GER

as last year it was again a fantastic event in the out of nowhere in SAARLAND, germany, near the previous french border. great, what the BREMERICH FAMILY particularly OLI BREMERICH and his team from the shop arrange and organize for MAENNERABEND every year. the guys in and around this small town ILLINGEN can be lucky! also, here out in the country the people are so cool, so kind and so honest – a great atmosphere! when i sometimes join events in big towns the folks are often so bigheaded and such a kind of fake. so what, this was a wonderful night, which was much too short … time was running so fast. a big thank you again to KATJA & OLI BREMERICH for best hospitably. for me it is something like coming home when visiting OLI & KATJA. i did a lot of pics so i will post a second part later. pics // LTG

5TH MAENNERABEND @ BREMERICH JEANS, ILLINGEN, GERMANY

today i got a parcel from OLI BREMERICH owner of BREMERICH JEANS, ILLINGEN, GERMANY. wonderful, because it’s “MAENNERABEND” time again and OLI wants me to get stimulated for tomorrow evening. so he send me 2 bottles of FERDINANDS DRY GIN and the official invitation, i made for him. great idea. while writing this post i try the SAAR QUINCE GIN i did not know before – just on the rocks, without tonic or water. sounds great for me as a RIESLING lover, because this “SLOE GIN” is “riesling wine infused”. f***, what a great taste. this golden stuff is at the same time so smooth and tasty. and FERDINAND’S  DRY GIN – one of my absolute GIN favorites –, which is made of 30 fine botanicals from the local vineyards is so perfect done too. okay, enough compliments: take your own bottle of FERDINANDS and enjoy it – for more information and shopping, check www.saar-gin.de. you may ask why OLI send this stuff to me? not just to prepare for tomorrow eveining, but the owner of FERDINAND’S will do a gin tasting at  “MAENNERABEND”. furthermore UWE E. MAIER c/o AMTRAQ DISTRIBUTION, ROB and KEITH from EAT DUST will join the event and show some stuff of their actual and upcoming collections. beside OLI will show the folks some new stuff from FILSON, RED WING SHOES and various JAPANESE DENIMs. great, i am happy to join an evening with friends tomorrow … photos // LTG
