yesterday after i finished my weekend run i entered on my way home volls.de to wish KLAUS and his staff IKRAM and BURCU a merry christmas. it was a bit funny, because they looked at me if i was an alien between all the well dressed clients in there. i was sweating so much and wearing my running clothes over all my beloved silver shining NIKE vest. KLAUS gave me the bow tie below as a gift and i was really surprised and happy about this special bow tie. i love bow ties … and KLAUS, as i told you, i will wear it on christmas evening. great stuff: i like the different patterns of the bow tie and the strap – really nice! yesterday i did not got only my haircut refreshed from OLLI THE BARBER. no, he gave me a very nice packed small parcel with an ANCHOR BUNG – my xmas present! great idea! thanks OLLI, it works and is now in use. my little LEVI has another bung in his lavatory: as a big fish fan his bung is printed with a goldfish. btw you can get your own personalized bung at www.plopp.co. great idea! pics | LTG

this is ALONSO MATEO a 4 old californian boy. and the best is, he doesn’t wear what his parents give him to wear he WANTS to wear this garments and boots – crazy but really true. his mother LUISA FERNANDA ESPINOSA shops with MATEO and helps him to coordinate his daily ensembles. beside, MATEO feels inspired by the paintings of RENÉ MARGRITTE, NATE RUESS,  singer of the group FUN in the “we are young” video and certainly by his father. when ALONSO was 4 he started asking his mother for bow ties and suits and the story wnt on. check more stuff from this little dude at LUISA’s instagram site. pics | KNSTRCT & LUISA FERNANDA ESPINOSA

LTG FAVORITES #84 | RIESLING FROM WEINGUT TESCH

it is sunday and i am working like everyday since the last – i don’t know – weeks. but i had to do a break this afternoon. two weeks ago i got a new delivery from my favorite vineyard TESCH: some boxes RIESLING UNPLUGGED and WEISSES RAUSCHEN. this wine once was created by MARTIN TESCH as the tour wine of the DIE TOTEN HOSEN. both RIESLINGs i love so much because of their extremely pure, straight and fresh taste – even in winter! okay, i did a break and went to my wine cellar to put out the bottles of the boxes and sort them into my wine rack. this sort of work i love! nice detail: the box with WEISSES RAUSCHEN was closed with a KAUF MICH tape, the title of a vintage DIE TOTEN HOSEN album – very nice. and: CONGRATULATIONS TO TESCH because of decorated as WINEMAKER OF THE YEAR 2012/2013 by FRANKFURTER ALLGEMEINE. absolutely deserved! break is over now. and for this evening i took a bootle of UNPLUGGED 2011 with me. pics | LTG

BOOT OF THE DAY | #156 | WHITE RED WING BOOT #8873

when i see these white RED WING BOOTS i always must think for MICKY MOUSE. very extraordinary and certainly from japan. i found these #8873 on great HOPESMORE’s auction site – you can buy it! the boots fit a 9.5D foot – my size. the boot is in really good shape – take a look at the soles. a fantastic boot for the brave one, an eye-catcher par excellence! i think the boot is from the late 90s. i saw a dead stock #8873 some times ago and i remember thatthis one was from 1998. pics | HOPESMORE

RED WING SHOES | CUSTOMIZED MOC TOE STYLES by HUKUROKUJU

check these different RWS styles originally fitted with the white RWS crepe sole. great japanese HUKUROKUJU gave them different rough new #100 and #132 VIBRAM soles. its a matter of taste if you like this or not. i think it depends on the boot and its color. seem to be some brand new boots and some repaired used boots. there are some styles we do not get in europe like the dark blue grey one, the white and the chocolate red suede one. very nice. pics | HUKUROKUJU
