RED WING SHOES GO GERMAN TV | “TATORT” COP WEARS 8131

“TATORT” is cult in germany. since decades every sunday at 20:15 after TAGESSCHAU a new episode of this crime TV series is coming up. only in summer there is a break and ARD shows us replays from the last years. last sunday this break was over and they showed us the second episode with commissars FLÜCKIGER alias STEFAN GUBSER and LIZ RITSCHARD alias DELIA MAYER. today 20 – yes, TWENTY – different cops and teams clear up every sunday in 20 different locations and cities criminal cases. but no one of them was wearing RED WINGS before. cop FLÜCKIGER does it last sunday. a brand new #8131. it was unusual but cool to see these boots 90 minutes walking and running on the screen. i am really curios about the fact if the RED WINGS were chosen by STEFAN GUBSER himself or his film team. you can watch the complete TATORT “HANDLAGE MIT AUSSICHT” with FLÜCKINGER @ www.daserste.de. below you can see my vintage 8131

LIFE TIME GEAR | FAVORITES #70 | BOW TIES

last weekend i got new stuff from my absolute bow tie dealer BEAU TIES LTD. OF VERMONT. two special pieces from BILL’S PRIVATE STOCK and one standard tie. great. all BEAU TIES LTD. stuff is made in the USA. i love bow ties and i hate ties. i am even not able to tie a knot and i own not one. and i never missed one till today. my bow tie collection is about 20 pieces most and i have two new favorites: the blue one with the skulls named “SPARROW” and the one with the sailing ships named “COMMODORE”. this afternoon i have a meeting and i do not know which one to wear … 3 hours are left … pics | LTG

LIFE TIME GEAR @ INKSIDE STUDIO GETTING A NEW TATTOO

yesterday evening i went to BASTI c/o INKSIDE studio to get some new tattoos in order to complete my sleeve on the right arm. i wanted DONAL DUCK to say POPEYE, GOOFY and MICKY hello – but there wasn’t enough space for the duck head. so i decided to get the CAPTAIN AMERICA logo inked – a good decision: BIG LIKE! and i got some stars in blue, red and white around. so it is getting forward, but my next date will be in january 2013. BASTI is damned busy! in the year 2000 i went the first time to BASTI to get a cowboy pin up inked. we will renovate this tattoo next year … pics | LTG

MAKR CARRY GOODS EYEWEAR CASE @ KLAR

yesterday i went to AKRAM c/o KLAR, darmstadt, germany, to get a new eyewear case. i knew that he got his MAKR order from AMTRAQ and i am searching since a long time for a practical case where to put all my different glasses inside. a problem was always the big fat DITA KINGSTON. now even this beloved “monster” got its garage. i took the case in saddle tan leather; exciting how it will look like  when aging – i think absolutely perfect. the case has a snap front closure is hand and machine sewn, hand edge painted and polished and made of HORWEEN® leather. hurry up to get your case, because there are just a few left … pics | LTG

#1 “BULLIT” MEETING DARMSTADT, GERMANY | GO CARGO BIKE

damn, it was so hot yesterday – nearly 40°C in the shadow! but for a BULLIT cargo bike enthusiast this is not a problem; i have enough room to store cold drinks in my bike … so i joined the first BULLIT CARGO BIKE MEETING DARMSTADT which was organized by MARCUS STOECKEL c/o TWENTY INCH and his staff. thx for this, hope that there will be a second meeting soon. we did a short ride through the nearer odenwald and finished our tour at HOFGUT OBERFELD, where a vintage tractor meeting was – good choice of location by the way. about 10 darmstadt BULLIT-bikers were missing because of holidays and other commitments. hope we will be complete at the second meeting and  maybe there are some new BULLIT fans with us in the nearer future riding the BEST BIKE OF THE WORLD! you found OLLI THE BARBER on the pics? yeah, the man with the cool custom NIRVE e-bike … pics | LTG

when i entered the stall of SEVEN FOOT COWBOY at B&B 2012 there were just a few seconds to change business cards with the staff and the promise to come back the next day. the stall was looking great, an eye catcher for some one like me who loves cowboy style and the old american west. but the day after i couldn’t manage to go again there and so i was very happy that CLAIRE sent me some informations via mail – thx for that! because it would be a pity not tell all the people about this young creative british brand. here just some short informations, for more visit www.sevenfootcowboy.com . all jeans are manufactured in lancashire, england, from premium japanese denim. every pair is designed with a looser stitched curved seam along the seat. the “HUSSAR YOKE” sewn with variable tension construction gives a little ease making the jeans more comfortable to wear. check the video below “making jeans”. there are seven styles and i like especially the “MAVERICK”. the other styles are really special and unusual in their design but always with an old school western attitude. there is even some denim and a skirt for the girls. exciting to see, which way the SEVEN FOOT COWBOYS will go … pics & vid | SEVEN FOOT COWBOY, pokit
