damn, a lot of work since i am back from spain finished my holidays. no time for the family, no time to visit my friends, no time for a cruise through the city, no time to talk to buddies, no time for nothing … my rare free time i just spent for running to get my head free for managing daily work! okay, friday afternoon i had some time to visit my buddy KLAUS @ volls.de. chaos! the shop was full – full of people AND full of a lot of new F/W stuff. there was no time to talk to KLAUS or his staff. so i just asked for some news to take some photos for LTG and KLAUS gave me the UNIVERSAL WORKS stuff which just came in on thursday. F***! amazing! i just own one piece from UW but i know all the last collections by the web very well and i like it so much. but seeing and touching KLAUS’ order by real was great. i took some fast and simple shots of vests, jackets and shirts to show you. i love this simple style and the materials the stuff is made of – the brand name is program: UNIVERSAL WORKS! details will follow later. stay tuned! pics | LTG
it happened again: i crashed my beloved LUMINOR MARINA during my summer holidays. two years ago it happend the first time. this time it felt down to a terra-cotta floor when i was changing a natostrap. it runs 6 hours after the crash and stopped when i went to bed. looking at the watch in the middle of the night it showed exactly the time i went to bed. on the next morning i saw the disaster: a gear wheel was wandering around when i was shaking the PAM – finished. i am waiting for the calculation of repairing and/or revision. now i am wearing again my smart OMEGA SEAMASTER COSMIC, 1967. i bought this 2 yeras ago after my first PAM crash. it is much smaller and an automatic, but i like it. especially with the nato-strap on. pics | LTG
some weeks ago i got this little map made of RED WING SHOES leather from FRED c/o redwing1905 blog as a thank you for doing some work for his agency. great piece: so smooth and unique. i think this map isn’t available to buy in europe. it is perfect to hold FIELD NOTES. from the first day on this oro-russet thing is always with me. pics | LTG
over the years i am collecting DISNEY figurines. every time when i went to DISNEYLAND PARIS i bought one of these precious pieces. but today they are hard to get. at the souvenir shops you just can get f***ing plastic shit without a soul. my DAGOBERT, DONALD, MICKEY, GOOFY, PLUTO and the PANZERKNACKER are made of ceramic. each piece is about 15 to 30 cm high. especially the PANZERKNACKER are really heavy – i think about 4 kg. i bought them on a flea market from a comic nerd nearly 15 years ago for more than 300 DEUTSCHE MARK. and i love this one; it is a special peice you can’t get anywhere anymore. DISNEY is with me since i can remember and with my son LEVI it is the same. he is 6 years young and went 3 times to PARIS to visit MICKEY & Co. in two weeks DONALD will complete my DISNEY tattoos on the right arm. pics | LTG
meanwhile my son LEVI and me finished the 3rd big LEGO project. after the BULLY T1 and the SPACE SHUTTLE we built the LEGO TECHNIC V8 SUPER CAR with a MUSCLE CAR attitude. damn, this wasn’t so easy. LEGO TECHNIC is much more complicated in building than classic LEGO is. more than 1250 pieces had to be sticked together and a lot off them are moveable with special functions. so the SUPER CAR has a LEGO® POWER FUNCTION M-MOTOR and a #8881 POWER FUNCTIONS BATTERYBOX to open both doors, the hood and spoilers automatically. our little team did a perfect job: everything works without complications! today i ordered the next box: a vintage SOPWITH CAMEL double decker plane. and if this is finished we want to built a V8 HOT ROD – just change all bricks from the SUPER CAR … pics | LTG

“the brand name NEZUMI means “rat” in japanese. the inspiration for the brand name comes from a book that DAVID read as a child about a legendary thief called NEZUMI KOZO who lived in japan during the EDO period. it is said that he stole from the wealthy samurai and gave to the poor turning the petty crook into a folk hero.”
DAVID’s passion for denim starts long ago and in 2002 he decided to search a factory in sweden which could make jeans – for years he couldn’t find one. but in 2011 he found a swedish family owned factory. with these people and their know-how he started NEZUMI by releasing the N 0-2-50 – seen on the pics below – limited to 50 pairs. here some facts: regular rise, slightly tapered legs, button fly, premium 13.5 oz rigid selvage denim from CONE DENIM, WHITE OAK, usa, … the hand debossed natural tanned patch is made of genuine full grain vegetable leather from TÄRNSJÖ TANNERY in sweden. interesting? indeed! and beside: the rugged INDY BOOT worn in the photo shooting is mega awesome. pics | NEZUMI
for me one of the most beautiful WHITE’S BOOTS and work boots i ever saw. what a great color combination: sand and navy distressed suede leather – i love it. completed is this 6″ high boot by a double soled VIBRAM #700 and a classic regular toe. the boot was available at japanese VECK. you should keep this boot in mind for a custom order some day … pics | VECK
