STYLE #8890 MOC TOE
the 8890 is modeled after the classic moc toe style first released in 1953 featuring the traction tred sole. the 8890 is crafted with charcoal rough & tough leather,  an antiqued  leather with a slightly worn texture which amplifies the character of the boot.

STYLE #8126 BROGUE RANGER
using the design of the IRON RANGER and the functional perforation pattern of brogue shoes. RED WING SHOES created the BROGUE RANGER for those looking for a durable boot with a small twist. the 8126 is crafted using black chaparral leather and nitrile cork sole.

STYLE #2922 CHELSEA RANCHER
The 2922 is built with oro-iginal leather,  a roccia sole and goodyear welt construction. RED WING’s premium oro-iginal leather provides water, stain and perspiration resistance as well as a beautiful and naturalappearance.

LIFE TIME GEAR BOOT & SHOE COLLECTION | 15 | CLASSIC DANNER LIGHT

one of my all-time favorites: DANNER’s CLASSIC LIGHT. for me this lace-to-toe boot is a DANNER icon. i do not know if my boot is still offered in combination with the rough VIBRAM KLETTERLIFT outsole. i have the feeling that this DANNER boot is changing from a classic hiking boot to a lifestyle product. remembering 2012 BREAD & BUTTER i saw some CLASSIC LIGHTS and MOUNTAIN LIGHTS at the DANNER stall in different color and sole combinations. some nice stuff, sometimes a bit too colorful. but i like DANNER for remembering their heritage and go their way like other traditional shoe & boot makers do. i use the CLASSIC LIGHT mainly for hiking and in winter or at bad weather conditions. this boot’s name is program: so comfortable and lightweight and at the same time so durable with great traction and stability on both wet and dry surfaces. a perfect companion for all your needs! pics | LTG

TELLASON & JACK/KNIFE VEST | BURG & SCHILD BERLIN

16 pieces were produced and me, i got one – just exclusively available at berlin located BURG & SCHILD! thx TIM for fast shipment, thx KAY and SHANE for reserving this great piece during my holidays. the vest is the result of a collaboration between san francisco located JACK/KNIFE and TELLASON. i saw the vest first time @ BREAD & BUTTER at the TELLASON stall and i knew: a-must-have-piece. TONY told me a lot about how the vest was made: all by hand – cut and sewn and waxed. made of deadstock duck canvas from a mill in south carolina – only one roll of this fabric was left! for more details please check the handwritten tags on the photos below. for some photos of the manufacturing process please check the AMTRAQ DISTRIBUTION site. pics | LTG

damn, a lot of work since i am back from spain finished my holidays. no time for the family, no time to visit my friends, no time for a cruise through the city, no time to talk to buddies, no time for nothing … my rare free time i just spent for running to get my head free for managing daily work! okay, friday afternoon i had some time to visit my buddy KLAUS @ volls.de. chaos! the shop was full – full of people AND full of a lot of new F/W stuff. there was no time to talk to KLAUS or his staff. so i just asked for some news to take some photos for LTG and KLAUS gave me the UNIVERSAL WORKS stuff which just came in on thursday. F***! amazing! i just own one piece from UW but i know all the last collections by the web very well and i like it so much. but seeing and touching KLAUS’ order by real was great. i took some fast and simple shots of vests, jackets and shirts to show you. i love this simple style and the materials the stuff is made of – the brand name is program: UNIVERSAL WORKS! details will follow later. stay tuned! pics | LTG

PANERAI CRASH | LIFE TIME GEAR GOES OMEGA

it happened again: i crashed my beloved LUMINOR MARINA during my summer holidays. two years ago it happend the first time. this time it felt down to a terra-cotta floor when i was changing a natostrap. it runs 6 hours after the crash and stopped when i went to bed. looking at the watch in the middle of the night it showed exactly the time i went to bed. on the next morning i saw the disaster: a gear wheel was wandering around when i was shaking the PAM – finished. i am waiting for the calculation of repairing and/or revision. now i am wearing again my smart OMEGA SEAMASTER COSMIC, 1967. i bought this 2 yeras ago after my first PAM crash. it is much smaller and an automatic, but i like it. especially with the nato-strap on. pics | LTG

LIFE TIME GEAR | FAVORITES #69 | DISNEY FIGURES AND TATTOOS

over the years i am collecting DISNEY figurines. every time when i went to DISNEYLAND PARIS i bought one of these precious pieces. but today they are hard to get. at the souvenir shops you just can get f***ing plastic shit without a soul. my DAGOBERT, DONALD, MICKEY, GOOFY, PLUTO and the PANZERKNACKER are made of ceramic. each piece is about 15 to 30 cm high. especially the PANZERKNACKER are really heavy – i think about 4 kg. i bought them on a flea market from a comic nerd nearly 15 years ago for more than 300 DEUTSCHE MARK. and i love this one; it is a special peice you can’t get anywhere anymore. DISNEY is with me since i can remember and with my son LEVI it is the same. he is 6 years young and went 3 times to PARIS to visit MICKEY & Co. in two weeks DONALD will complete my DISNEY tattoos on the right arm. pics | LTG

LEVI’S & LIFE TIME GEAR’S V8 SUPER CAR PROJECT | BUILDING UP AN OWN MUSCLE CAR

meanwhile my son LEVI and me finished the 3rd big LEGO project. after the BULLY T1 and the SPACE SHUTTLE we built the LEGO TECHNIC V8 SUPER CAR with a MUSCLE CAR attitude. damn, this wasn’t so easy. LEGO TECHNIC is much more complicated in building than classic LEGO is. more than 1250 pieces had to be sticked together and a lot off them are moveable with special functions. so the SUPER CAR has a LEGO® POWER FUNCTION M-MOTOR and a #8881 POWER FUNCTIONS BATTERYBOX to open both doors, the hood and spoilers automatically. our little team did a perfect job: everything works without complications! today i ordered the next box: a vintage SOPWITH CAMEL double decker plane. and if this is finished we want to built a V8 HOT ROD – just change all bricks from the SUPER CAR … pics | LTG
