LIFE TIME GEAR BOOT & SHOE COLLECTION | #00

guys it’s time to open the cupboard. next time i will present you my boot & shoe collection piece by piece. by the way i want to organize the chaos … my wife wants me to do, too … but that’s another story. you will see some boots you know if you follow my blog frequently  and i promise that i will you show some really rare and exotic pieces from western to work boots, from rugged and old to nearly new, from 12 inch boots to oxfords, from ALDEN to YUKETEN – it is a lot of stuff. beside my cupboard i have a big metal case in the basement where f.ex. my marriage boots are stored: long time no see … i think i will discover some suprise for my self. pics | LTG

LIFE TIME GEAR @ VOLLS

yesterday morning i visited my buddy KLAUS, owner of VOLLS shop, darmstadt, germany, and volls.de. it is always nice to have a change in an exhausting working week, even it is only about an hour. speaking about local news, upcoming collections and checking some stuff arrived the last days. one of my actual new favorites KLAUS got these days: MERZ B. SCHWANEN. really great stuff – you feel the passion and heritage the makers put in the pieces when you touch it, see it and feel it by wearing. and beside me my wife loves it, too. another highlight yesterday where some extraordinary pieces from EDWIN OVERWORKING. pretty nice and extremely exclusive but damn expensive. KLAUS is heavy working on his online shop update for S/S 2012 while is waiting for more new stuff to come from ENGINEERED GARMENTS, POST OVERALLS, ALDEN, and and and. what a pitty, half an hour later when i left KLAUS the new LEVIS VINTAGE CLOTHING stuff arrived. yep, another reason to come back soon next week. i will keep you updated for the online shop update. pics | LTG

LIFE TIME GEAR @ AMTRAQ DISTRIBUTION & LAMBCHOP

saturday evening was great: at first PETER and me visited UWE c/o AMTRAQ DISTRIBUTION at his office in frankfurt/main, germany, and after that we all joined together the LAMBCHOP concert. first of all the concert was really nice, sometimes very low, but exciting by the same way. KURT WAGNER’s voice is catchy – you just have listen to! AWESOME. but the songs from their actual longplayer “MR. M”, dedicated to the band’s died friend VIC CHESSNUT, are so sad and you feel deep devotional. but before PETER and me discovered UWE’s mens playground: the AMTRAQ office. we could have stayed there for hours. the office interior is so tastefully. UWE was explaining his stuff, me i checked and tried one piece after another, pizza, beer, good music …just perfect! over all TELLASON denim and the DEHEN1920 stuff fascinated me most. great stuff! but don’t forget MAKR, TANNER GOODS, TOPO DESIGN and SPORTSWEAR REG. UWE, you did a good selection, a lot of new and exciting stuff for german men shops and outfitters. pics | lLambchop faz.net | LTG

ALDEN SEATS | CUSTOM BROGUE STYLED BIKE SADDLES

awesome hand made custom brogue style bike saddles by ALDEN SEATS. those are to order for small shops or just for an individual order. the seats are made from top quality leather for an incredible durability and longevity. i think this might be an alternative to BROOKS saddles, something very special. there will be three seat shapes for the start this year: a retro road and track seat, a dutch style comfort seat and slim style BMX and MTB seat. EVERY seat will be made and finished in california, the hides will be embroidered, laser cut and upholstered there – a true MADE IN USA product … compared to the most seat manufactures who produce their stuff in china or taiwan. leather will be sourced from USA based tanneries. this sounds really good. check more facts at CycleEXIF
