saturday evening was great: at first PETER and me visited UWE c/o AMTRAQ DISTRIBUTION at his office in frankfurt/main, germany, and after that we all joined together the LAMBCHOP concert. first of all the concert was really nice, sometimes very low, but exciting by the same way. KURT WAGNER’s voice is catchy – you just have listen to! AWESOME. but the songs from their actual longplayer “MR. M”, dedicated to the band’s died friend VIC CHESSNUT, are so sad and you feel deep devotional. but before PETER and me discovered UWE’s mens playground: the AMTRAQ office. we could have stayed there for hours. the office interior is so tastefully. UWE was explaining his stuff, me i checked and tried one piece after another, pizza, beer, good music …just perfect! over all TELLASON denim and the DEHEN1920 stuff fascinated me most. great stuff! but don’t forget MAKR, TANNER GOODS, TOPO DESIGN and SPORTSWEAR REG. UWE, you did a good selection, a lot of new and exciting stuff for german men shops and outfitters. pics | lLambchop faz.net | LTG

a lot of people asked me what cap i wore on the pics FRED posted @ RW1905. it is a merchandise TRUCKER HAT from great LAMBCHOP. i will see them tomorrow evening in FRANKFURT, MAIN, with some good friends who love KURT WAGNER’s voice like me. it will be a smooth evening – i’m sure. before i will visit UWE and the showroom of AMTRAQ. i am really curios about. WEEKEEEEEEEEEEEND! sorry, many questions about the orange sweater, too: it is from GRP’s s/s collection soon available online @ volls.de. i think KLAUS will kick of his relaunched summer website next week – so stay tuned. pics | FRED B. yet another company distributed by UWE’s AMTRAQ: Sportswear reg. A young italian company, born in 2008, influenced by used american apparel from gyms, military and workwear – from the 30s to the early 80s. i did not see anything live but the stuff on the pics UWE sent me looks really authentic with a lot of love for details – i like this style very much. all pieces are produced with original fabrics and prints; the labels and hangtags are hand stamped. and very special – good idea, because i love limited stuff: every season there will be 1 shirt und 2 t-shirts hand-painted, delivered in a special box – strictly limited. exciting. UWE, the LAMBCHOP cards are stored in my cupboard. hope to see your showroom before the gig. pics | AMTRAQ

this night in middle germany near frankfurt/main we have had –15C°. time to think for the summer getting some hot “beachy” ideas. what’s about cool HAWAII SHIRTS from REY SPOONER. UWE c/o AMTRAQ is distributing this original hawaiian traditionals. the brand was found in WAIKIKI, HAWAII in 1959. REYN SPOONER is recognized as being the IVY LEAGUE of hawaiin prints. in 1964 REY SPOONER creates the “SPOONER KLOTH”, combining the cool comfort of combed cotton with the wrinkle free properties of spun polyester. do you know the significant signs of a traditional and authentic hawaii shirt? i did not before UWE told me:
_ the shirt has to be a straight seam with side vents; not round like shirts worn into a trouser
_ pockets that do not break into the pattern design
_ POP OVER or PULL OVER cut for pulling over the head
_ REVERSE PRIN. this means that the shirt is printed inside. so the pattern is not so expressive and looks smarter. a look like bleached from the sun and the saltwater.

one of my absolute favorites is DEHEN1920. before UWE told me about this label i did not know a lot about. okay i saw the VARSITY JACKETS at HICKOREES, but too expensive to order and so i did not check it anymore. DEHEN1920 is a family-run business based in portland, oregon, USA. they have specialized in production of mens, ladies and youngsters knitwear, sweaters, cardigans and jackets as well as woolen outerwear, varsity and baseball jackets. for over 90 years DEHEN1920 has supplied sports, cheerleader and team attire to schools teams, universities and organisations. they even made jackets for the cadets at the famous military academy of the U.S. army at westpoint. another successful product was the iconic motorcycle sweater made for bikers. i will show you just some impressions. for more facts jump to AMTRAQ. pics | DEHEN1920
