BLENDS vs. RED WING SHOES | A COLLABORATION

150 pairs were produced and the boot got released last saturday the 10th @ all BLEND locations, west coast, usa. for this project TAK KATO, BLENDS CD, picked the CLASSIC 6″ ROUND TOE boots “to make them more casual. he chose to utilize a suede upper, a concept that has never been used on the 6” boots in the USA before. he used tonal stitches to keep the boots simple and reflect a more casual look. simplicity and minimalism are a key aspect of BLENDS design concept. In addition, he added the DNA of the classic Irish Setter sports boots by adding hooks at the top as opposed to eyelets all the way up. We set out to create a boot that works well for everybody, something that would match with a variety of styles from Americana to military, from workwear to biker. very nice look; i like the black suede leather. more information @ that bad working site: blendsus.com. pics | BLENDS

yes guys. to complete your rugged snowboard look these pieces are the right stuff for you. months ago i posted the BURTON x RED WING SHOES snowboard boot collaboration. the boot is now available at f.ex. b-74, frankfurt. and the CARHARTT snowboard jacket and trouser should be available soon in selected stores around the world. i found the jacket at austrian BLUE-TOMATO for 300 euros. i think this jacket is not only wearable on the board. it seems to be a cool winterjacket with a lot of high-tech details and lifetime guarantee with a great traditional attitude! the stuff is available in black and classic duck brown – my favorite. pics | carhartt-wip

BOOT OF THE DAY | #91 | LIMITED RED WING BOOT 9871

this is one of the most beautiful RED WING SHOES i ever saw. the 9871 is one of three other rebuilt RED WING boots from the 1950s with the original special leather and its color. the color is called “RUSSET GOLD SEQUOIA”. beside the leather the boot shows a lot of very nice details. sold in an original IRISH SETTER box. just offered by japanese web stores and strictly limited by RED WING JAPAN.  pics | THREEWOOD
