Customized iconic Red Wing #877. Found – where else – on a Japanese Twitter Account (MaH @MaH53137643). I like this kind of customizing with that fat soles and higher heels a lot. RED WING HERITAGE ICONIC STYLE #8131 | VINTAGE versus NEW

One of my absolute Red Wing favorites is the iconic Moc Toe style #8131. Before handing out my brother his new oro-russet Moc Toe, I had to take some shots – I like the contrast so much. Maybe you wanna check out the “vintage versus new” photos. My rugged boot is from the 90s and when you check the pictures you can’t find many differences compared to the actual #8131. Obviously there is an embossed Red Wing Shoes logo on the outsides of the vintage #8131, while the new boot features the characteristic label at the tongue with a lot of information about the boot. All Red Wing Boots and Shoes have this label since years. The inseams of the heels are a bit different. That’s all. Never change a working system or a good working product! This is the third product line of the last week launched RED WING HERITAGE WOMEN’S COLLECTION: the “MODERN”line. 2 styles “CLARA” and “LILLIAN” in different colorways were launched, the third named “HARRIET” will come to the stores in October. For me this line is not what RED WING SHOES are for me, but I am sure that a lot of Ladies will love this styles. RED WING about the “MODERN” line: “Both beautiful and  practical, our Modern Collection reinterprets our most classic designs for women. Each style is built on a genuine leather-stacked heel and a three-quarter Goodyear welt and showcases our premium s.b. Yes, the “CORE” line is my favorite one! This line is what RED WING means to me, also for women: a perfect adaption of men’s classics for women’s feet. Iconic styles like the Moc Toe #875, the Iron Ranger #8111 and the Engineer #2990 are developed for women’s feet requirements and needs. A perfect idea, knowing a lot of women wearing RED WING SHOES for years anyway. My wife never wailed about heavy or uncomfortable boots, but I know other ladies who did. THE TIMEX x RED WING SHOES COLLABORATION | JUST A FEW LIMITED WATCHES AVAILABLE

Originally these TIMEX x RED WING SHOES COLLABORATION WATCHES were just sold in Japan. Online in Europe just @ endclothing but right now RED WING SHOE STORE FRANKFURT got a strictly limited supply. You can buy the watches online – the only dealer in Germany – or directly in the store. The collaboration watch is available in three styles and sizes: 38 mm, 40 mm and a 42 mm Chrono. Each watch features vintage-inspired dials, stainless steel casing, is up to 50 meters water resistant, INDIGLO@ Night Light and Quick Date®. But the icing on the cake is that each watch is outfitted with an awesome premium leather strap supplied by the master tanners at RED WING SHOES – handcrafted for sure! I don’t know exactly what leather color the strap has. It is similar to the famous Oro-Legacy (oil tanned) former known as Oro-iginal but a little bit darker, no more colorful. This leather is used for the icons #875 Moc Toe and #877 Irish Setter. The watches come in a very nice designed box. RED WING SHOES | REISSUED STYLE #8180 EXCLUSIVELY AVAILABLE @ RED WING STORES AROUND THE WORLD

at first, i always loved the green RWS boots color and i owned an original from the sixties: an 888 IRISH SETTER made of this smooth and rare green kangaroo leather. yesterday i went to frankfurt with the family to visit KAMI, owner of RED WING STORE FRANKFURT. we talked a lot and when we said good bye he showed me this damn f***ing nice green boots: the new, reissued #8180. he told me that the boot will be officially presented this monday  by RED WING SHOES. so, it was great and a pleasure for me to do a post before the presentation ;-))

Here is the history about the #8180: “in 1963, RWS developed a premium sport boot using australian kangaroo leather. identified by its unique green color, the boot was developed exclusively for SEARS and carried the TED WILLIAM label. WILLIAMS is considered one of the greatest hitters in the history of baseball and was also an avid outdoorsman sho became an american icon. his name became a brand that labeled only the most premium sports and outdoor gear sold at SEARS.” (words by RWS)

so the #8180 is made of unique green KANTAGAN PORTAGE LEATHER, the same leather used to build each of these traditional, hand-stitched baseballs … and sorry, you will not get the ball with you when you buy an #8180 … and this style is exclusively available at RED WING STORES around the world. really nice and so unique. hm, i love the color … and, i did NOT buy these boots yet. pics | LTG

what a found … did you hear about this japan limited RWS 6 inch boot? sorry, me not. you like? i do not know – but i think, i like the hybrid between the classic RWS moc toe and a canoe or boat shoe. the boots are available in the wonderful GOLD RUSSET SEQUOIA and ORO RUSSET. they show the classic 50s IRISH SETTER label and come in the retro box from this time. pics | THREEWOOD + FOOT TIME
