one of my absolute “non-boot” favorites: a 2-tone leather wingtip brogue from CHURCH’S. they call this style “DOWNTOWN”. i love the classic look, the dark blue and white color combination and beside the shoes are very comfortable with their smooth calf leather and the red-brick sole. i did not wear it so much till now, because i am a bit afraid to rug it down- the shoe is so awesome, but maybe it gets even better when it is rugged.hm. pics | LTG

seeing him last week in a short sequence at ZDF KULTUR because of his new album SOLO PIANO II and i was absolutely crazy about his way playing the piano. great arrangements and really cool in person: CHILLY GONZALES. after 1 1/2 year without biking i am back on track. no more road biking but beside running i will do some trips with my ROTWILD mtb the next time for relaxing the legs. today i did a short trip with my copywriter PETER – awesome. the forest and the air, smelling the autumn coming. but it was beginning raining so hard after 15 km and it got so cold – so we turned to go back these 15 km. damn, at the end it was so f***ing wet, freezy and dirty, but it was great to be on the track again. pics | LTG
every year at 9|11 it is the same. i am not american, i did not loose friends or even someone of my family but i am still brutal shocked by the disaster happened on this tuesday 11 years ago. i know everything i did on this memorable day. from being a child on i am a great fan of the states, of NYC, of this wonderful country, of the people, of such a lot of things that belong to the states. i do not like everything, indeed not, but i love a lot! because of the shocking and unbelievable things that happened, i began to research the backgrounds and the history of 9/11 reading a lot of books. books about the official facts, books about conspiracy, about the political circumstances at this time in the states and books about the luck and cruel fate of people, photo books … a nice and silent book often watch at is ONE NATION by LIFE – a recommendation. and i am the opinion after absorbing all these informations that something must went wrong before 9/11, at 9/11 and after. but this is a secret and a mystery that maybe never will be cleared. so all my thoughts are with the people who died in the TWIN TOWERS, the PENTAGON and SHANKSVILLE and with their families. pics | LTG

yesterday i got my order from pomadeshop.de. some weeks ago OLLI THE BARBER gave me a small box MR. DUCKTAIL pomade to try. i love the consistence and the smell of coke and citrus fresh. for home-using i ordered the big 400 ml /net. wt 14 oz box – wow i did not imagine that it would be so big. great – the caliber is about 14 cm! i think it will last some time. pics | LTG
