what a wonderful vintage 2-tone WHITE’S SEMI-DRESS BOOT. one of my absolute favorite work boot styles – i own myself 4 different pairs of this iconic WHITE’S BOOT. this one is made of smooth light brown and sienna bullhide leather, 5″ low, regular toe and a VIBRAM #700. this boot is for sale @ LOST&FOUND vintage, japan. it’s asize 9.0D and the condition looks pretty good. the soles and laces seem to be knew. . pics | LOST&FOUND vintage

today a really exotic looking and extraordinary RUSSELL MOCCASIN CHUKKA in a rich green suede combined with smart sand colored suede leather. the style is named SPORTING CLAYS CHUKKA. RM build this boot in many different versions in point of leathers and soles. it is an iconic RUSSEL chukka boot, for sure made in the USA. this one has a black vibram # 2060 sole combined with these 2 different colored suede leathers – really cool and tough! i like it. maybe not for wearing everyday, but i like it. found at japanese VECK store. pics | VECK

one of my absolute “non-boot” favorites: a 2-tone leather wingtip brogue from CHURCH’S. they call this style “DOWNTOWN”. i love the classic look, the dark blue and white color combination and beside the shoes are very comfortable with their smooth calf leather and the red-brick sole. i did not wear it so much till now, because i am a bit afraid to rug it down- the shoe is so awesome, but maybe it gets even better when it is rugged.hm. pics | LTG

i think this boot is one of the most exciting work boots i own: 2 colored with a touch of the 30s and 40s but so strong and heavy for what WHITE’S BOOTS are known for. but at the same time so smooth because of the used leathers. the color combination of smooth light brown water buffalo and dark brown french calf is so beautiful and extraordinary. my feet never, really never, get hurt by a WHITE’S BOOT when wearing the first times. i remember me ordering the first time a WHITE’S and i just ordered the size i knew from other work boots i wore at this time and the choice was perfect. often i read that WHITE’S fit larger – i can’t say that. i have absolutely the same size in WHITE’S as in f.ex. RWS, DANNER, YUKETEN and ALDEN boots. but i must say WHITE’S are the most comfortable ones, but at the same time weighing most.
