For sure one of my absolute favorites from my cap collection: the TSPTR x EBBETS POPEYE BALLCAP. It mus be one of my favs because of being a great POPEYE fan since a child and EBBETS FIELD FLANNELS are my most beloved caps – what a perfect collaboration! And so special, so limited. As all EBBETS Caps this one is for sure made in the USA. It is an authentic 1960’s ball cap reproduction built of 14oz indigo dyed denim, featuring a high quality embroidered POPEYE badge, a horse hair buckram crown, satin taping, a cotton sweatband and an adjustable leather strap. JOHNSON MOTORS INC. DEADSTOCK DENIM

yes, today i got another xmas present. FRED c/o redwing.1905 blog brought me a special piece of denim from LOS ANGELES which he picked up there two weeks ago: a wonderful JOMO jeans made of vintage deadstock raw denim with a lot of details. thanks to SEAN, JULIO and EDDY from JOMO, LA. i think the denim is about 14.oz and the structure of the cotton is really interesting and looking old school. very nice the two different seams at the back pockets – good idea. my pant is the first made with this closed top button; the buttons before have had a whole in the middle. the legs are open seemed and the fit is really tight and tapered. for sure this rare piece of denim is handmade at JOMO headquater in LA by taylor JULIO. EDWIN x BURG & SCHILD COLLABORATION | BLACK COLLECTION 14OZ BLACK / BLACK RED LISTED SELVAGE DENIM

because of not being in berlin to join the 5th anniversary party of BURG & SCHILD i saved a lot of traveling money and so i ordered some anniversary stuff to celebrate this party with KAY, SHANE and TIM from out of my hometown. this mega black piece of denim is the second part of my order and i am really impressed about this. i never saw such a black denim before. the pockets are black twill and internally printed. with its 14oz. black/black red listed selvage denim from japanese mill, kaihara, it is very comfortable. and it has a lot of awesome details like the donut buttons, made from copper metal and hand panited with black enamel, or BURG & SCHILD leather patch that has been hand cut and hand embossed. i got number 44 of 100 limited pieces, numbered by hand – fifty pieces, 10 for each year B&S had been working with EDWIN. great idea and nice extra: every jeans comes in hand made tote bag made of recycled military ground sheets. everything is perfect, absolute … pics | LTG
