since more than one year i own this great B-74 ring – it’s time to post now. KAMI owner of the B-74 and RED WING STORE FRANKFURT let made it for me and i love it, at most in combination with my GERMAN MARINE ANCHOR and the WERKSTATT MUENCHEN rings – great trio. it’s a heavy piece with engraved B-74 · SELECTED GOODS · FRANKFURT. and it is great to know that just a few B-74 rings exist. pics | LTG || graphic | B-74
when i visited UWE @ AMTRAQ DISTRIBUTION he gave me 2 different TELLASON jeans. since this day on i wore my slim tapered 12.5 oz white oak cone mills denim named Ladbroke Grove nearly every day. great cut, perfect fit, comfortable, best looking – awesome. TELLASON stuff is made in san francisco – all material and components are made in the USA. beside the Ladbroke Grove there are 2 other styles: Johan Graham Mellor & Ankara. in summer there will be a new one which will be named Gustave. PETE & TONY from TELLASON are great THE CLASH fans. so all jeans’ styles are concerned to the famous english punkband. it is years ago i saw this damn, f***ing, fancy boot the first time. i even remember the man who wears this shitty boot: it was PETER HECKMANN and i asked him “what the hell happened to this RED WING 875?” some years later i met KAMI from the RED WING STORE FRANKFURT and owner of B-74 wearing a rugged 8150. and i did not know what to think now about the boot: it was looking strange but really, really cool rugged and vintage like it was. now 3 years later after asking myself several times to own this boot or not i bought it some weeks ago. and believe me i am so happy about my 8150. it is really funny seeing the people staring at me feet … i think the RED WING STORE FRANKFURT and B-74 are the only shops worldwide selling this boot. aren’t they? the 8150 is based on a 8138 but the leather is printed with a classic “DUCK HUNTING” camouflage pattern in cooperation with MOSSY OAK®. for even a better camouflage effect you should use brown laces. i am sorry, but there is no information about the history of this boot – nowhere! come on and get one of the last 8150s ever … pics | LTG
last fall i spoke to KAMI from B-74 if he could organize some limited pieces from FILSON and LEVI’S x FILSON for me. “no problem” – ok, in german we say: “ein mann, ein wort”. yep, 2 weeks ago the stuff arrived and last saturday i took it home. wow, i was really surprised about my new pure red icon FILSON SCARLET MACKINAW CRUISER JACKET and the sensational LEVI’S x FILSON vest, in dark snub denim – classic convenience and comfort merge. both pieces are made in the USA and have a lot of nice details – exciting. check the pics from filson. pics | FILSON, LTG
damn, again a new boot. it is a pity when you know someone like KLAUS and KAMI selling boots. selling even those boots you mostly like. yes, i did: this brown YUKETEN called “JOHNNY” has found its way into my cupboard. JOHNNY is so beautiful, so easy to wear and comfortable, so classic styled, so heritage … simply a PEFECT BOOT. not so heavy as a WHITE’s and by far not so work boot look-a-like as a RED WING SHOE. some more facts: chrome excel leather, leather laces, medallion tip, width D, goodyear welt construction, CATS PAW SOLE, leather insole with cushioned footbedand leather laces, handmade in CANADA. yesterday i did a short trip to FRANKFURT to visit KAMI at B-74. it was a diverting afternoon and again the spirit of the B-74 impressed me so much – it was about 5 months ago when i went there for the last time. if you ever go to frankfurt this shop is a MUST-VISIT. similar i imagine the FREE & EASY shop in TOKIO – so rugged and aesthetic heritage. beside you’ll find at B-74 the greatest european FILSON collection. bad pic | LTG

first of all: I HATE SMART! that has to be said! but, wow, the guy must have spent a lot of money, when he really bought all the stuff he tried on. good choice : NIGEL CABOURN CAMERAMAN JACKET F/W2011. really nice sequence in “smart. studio. Frankfurt – Urban View with Mira” which was made for the IAA 2011. KAMI – cool, good job, you look great in motion and the B-74 anyway … see you soon!
i just have 3 belts i wear every day. all are from DUKES, all are vintage d’artisan military belts which are
