RALF KELLENBERGER JEWELRY | NEW ONLINE SHOP LAUNCHED

Just some minutes ago I got Ralf’s first newsletter with grand news: www.ralfkellenberger.com is online now! I am so happy with the result because working together as a consultant with Rocky Beach Studio at the conception, design and realization of this unique store. Even more because I am a great fan of Ralf’s work. My first piece was a B74 Selected Goods ring made by Ralf 10 years ago. Meanwhile I own three rings and a fourth is in progress and we got friends and a good working team. Ralf was born 1982 in Pforzheim, Germany, known as the „Golden City“. Raised by his mother, a jewelry designer and his father, a diamond setter. It was their natural talent and sharp eye for detail that have inspired him through the years to create a unique and timeless collection true to the motto “Humbled by art, inspired by the earth.” Please check his new website to discover Ralf’s awesome jewelry. When I stumbled about this news and some pics in an automotive blog I thought “Damn, what an amazing idea”. The Electric Ford Bronco was developed and is produced by Zero Labs, Cal. USA. They are “… a passionate team of entrepreneurs, technology investors, advertising and media experts, financial managers, advanced race vehicle engineers, electric vehicle prototype manufactures, composite engineers, aerospace fabricators, premium classic car manufacturers, high net worth support and global industrial designers driven by a single purpose.” Zero Labs’ premium classic electric vehicles “are restored and handcrafted to show car quality seamlessly powered by a covert all-electric drive system. They are designed to be low maintenance, environment-friendly at superior luxury and refinement. Their goal is to offer everything you love, minus everything you hate. To be enjoyed now and well into the future.” Only 150 Broncos of this first edition premium electric vehicles are available for reservation. It is expected that the price can be more than $ 300.000, but maybe you know the “ICON” Bronco (see LTG Post from 2011) which is $ 250.000 up. SNOOPY, PEANUTS & TSPTR | SPACE RACE 1969 – MOON LANDING 50TH ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION

Here some historic facts which made the new special collection happen. TSPTR ›› “Just before the first man landed on the moon, Charlie Brown and Snoopy soared through space with NASA’s Apollo 10 mission in May 1969. It is difficult to imagine the excitement that the race for the moon invoked fifty years ago. As the decade of the 1960s was coming to a close, America and the rest of the world waited with great anticipation to see if NASA could achieve President John F. Kennedy’s challenge, put forth in May 1961, of putting a man on the moon by the end of the decade. Consequently, it was a very great honor, indeed, when the crew of Apollo 10 chose to nickname their command and lunar modules Charlie Brown and Snoopy, respectively. The flight of Apollo 10 in May 1969 was the “dress rehearsal” for the lunar landing that was scheduled for July 1969. Astronauts Thomas Stafford and Eugene Cernan piloted “Snoopy” within 50,000 feet of the lunar surface as they scouted the landing area for Apollo 11while John Young orbited the moon in the command module “Charlie Brown.” Charles Schulz’s involvement with NASA began a year earlier than the 1969 flight of Apollo 10 when he was approached by NASA with a request to use Snoopy as their safety mascot. The Silver Snoopy Award program was instituted to improve the safety record of NASA employees and contractors. It proved to be a huge success with the astronauts and the employees. The Silver Snoopy pin is a much-coveted award. A WEEKEND @ CUISINE M. WITH MICHAEL UHLEMANN & FRIENDS

Last weekend I went to Krefeld to visit my Soulbrother Michael Uhlemann c/o Cuisine M and his companion in life Sylwie. Micky celebrated his birthday on Saturday at Cuisine M, a very cool and stylish location which is part of the old Krefeld slaughterhouse. I arrived on Friday and did some shots before the party started. In the afternoon I met Micky’s friends Uwe Tauber Maker of Bespoke Leathergoods and his partner Janine. So wonderful people – I got new dear friends! The evening went on with cooking together and a pre-party to hurrah Micky at 00:00! What a relaxed and smooth evening with great food and wines. The party on Saturday was a blast with Micky’s Family and his best friends. And at last I met Ingo Keller c/o Schuhgott, Cologne, and his wife Andrea. Milan and Robert made the perfect music for a perfect evening! It was hard for me to say Good-bye on Sunday after these amazing days with best friends … hope to see you all very soon!

RED WING SHOE STORE FRANKFURT | CARE DAY 2019 WITH THE QUEEN OF SHOESHINER ELEONORA MADAME LUSTRASCARPE

Yesterday I was part of this wonderful event at Red Wing Frankfurt, the oldest and first Red Wing Shoe Store outside the USA since 1977. To all, who did not take part at this event, I am really sorry to say, that you missed something really special. All customers were so happy to take a look how Eleonora took care for their boots and shoes. And she brought such a fresh and personal Italian spirit to the Store – this was just amazing. It was a perfect day meeting a lot of friends and for sure making some new friends to the great Red Wing family! More pics will follow soon.
