TELLASON GERMANY | ONLINE SHOP RELAUNCHED

The last weeks I relaunched the www.tellason.de site and online shop. I did a lot of new photos to give the page a clear and uniform look. I also put the new spring/summer stuff 2021 online we stock here at the Tellason Germany warehouse in Frankfurt. It is just a small selection but you’ll find a lot of “Life Time Gear” pieces. One of my absolute favorites is the combination of the bone colored “Baker Jacket”, “JK Vest” and “Work Pant”. The short version of Tellason’s iconic “Fatigue Pant” will be your best companion for the upcoming summer – available in olive, navy and british tan made of 100% cotton sateen. Also perfect for summer and warmer spring days is this new stuff made of 100% lightweight Ripstop cotton: “Field Jacket”, “BDU Jacket”, “Fatigue Pants” in black and olive and the “Bowling Shirt” … What are your Tellason summertime favorites?

We also restocked the Garment Dyed “Coverall Jackets” made in USA of 13oz. bull denim … I own myself the “Mustard” and the “International Orange” one. I think you can’t have enough Coverall Jackets 😉 this is what I call “Life Time Gear” at its best. Have a great weekend folks.

TELLASON LADBROKE GROVE 18OZ SELVEDGE DENIM

You all know that I am addicted to TELLASON. And I am so happy and satisfied with my beloved pairs of Gustave styles in different ounces, but, damn, this piece of denim Uwe E. Maier c/o Amtraq Distribution gave me last week is the best. I love this “Ladbroke Grove”, named after a quarter of London where The Clash frontman Joe Strummer grew up, slim tapered fit in 18oz pink selvedge denim from the mill Collect Kojima in Japan from the first wear on. What a perfect fit with this 18oz.! It is a limited edition made for the 10th anniversary of Tellason (TEN), made in San Francisco, Cal., USA. So special, because only 150 pieces were produced and just 115 pieces were shipped to Europe. And me I am a lucky one … because I got one! Be fast to get one of the 114 that are left … Get your pair at VMC Originals, Zürich, or ask Amtraq Distr. for more stockists ›› mail@amtraq.com. This is not just another piece of Life Time Gear … no, it is a really special piece of Life Time Gear!!!

RED WING SHOES | THE NEW WACOUTA COLLECTION

Two weeks ago Red Wing Heritage released the new Wacouta Collection which includes 2 Boots, 2 backpacks and 4 pouches. Following in the tradition of the Wabasha, a widely-celebrated moccasin-style Red Wing boot from the mid 2000s, the Wacouta is an outdoor leisure-inspired boot. Five miles south of Red Wing, Minnesota, along the banks of the Mississippi River, Wacouta Township is the site of a cabin that has been in the Red Wing family for three generations.

The Wacouta Boot is a casual lifestyle boot that blends premium Red Wing leather with waxed canvas from the longstanding American manufacturer, Fairfield Textiles. The mixed materials combine to create a supremely comfortable moccasin-inspired shoe. Built on a Honeywheat outsole with stitch-down construction the Wacouta’s lightweight flexibility makes for miles of comfort.

The Backpacks are inspired by classic packs, with construction and material updates that provide modernized comfort and lasting durability. Red Wing leather waxed canvas and solid brass buckles and rivets create a backpack that’s visually striking and supremely functional. Designed to match Wacouta footwear styles the Wacouta Backpack is distinguished in its details. Waxed canvas and Oil-Tanned leather deliver water resistance and durability while reinforced stitching and heavyweight leather straps ensure each pack is up for the rigors of everyday hauling.

The Wacouta Gear Pouches blend striking form with everyday functionality. Red Wing leather and American-made  waxed canvas and hardware make for years of reliable, utilitarian use. Available in 2 sizes each style.

TELLASON “TEN” MAGAZIN

Hi guys, I am back! After 6 months of working so much on different projects I will continue LIFE TIME GEAR blog. I am so sorry, that LTG blog was “sleeping” and I was really surprised, that a lot of people asked and wrote me, if LTG is dead and that I should keep going on the blog – I will do! Okay, one of these projects was the creative direction of the “TEN” magazine I did for TELLASON and AMTRAQ DISTRIBUTION because of the 10th Anniversary of TELLASON. It was a great pleasure to do this for Pete, Tony and Uwe –you must know, since 2012 I didn’t wear another jean than my two pairs Tellason Gustave. We have have had an exciting time with a lot of work and best teamwork with people around the world. Last week the magazine was launched at the “TEN”  anniversary party during Selvedge Run 2019. Here just some pages to look at.

RED WING SHOES x EAT DUST PECOS #4327

Because of the Pecos Post today @redwingfrankfurt on Instagram and Facebook I decided to do a more detailed post at LTG Blog. So you have some views how nice this great boot ages. The iconic Red Wing “PECOS” boot style has a long history. In 1930 this “pull on” boot was introduced especially at this time for ranchers, cowboys and drilling roughnecks. The Pecos features till today a simple but at the same time so nice and timeless design, has a very comfortable fit and the more it get rugged the better it looks – as you see in the pics below. This boot is still made the same way as in these early days with quality leathers in our factory in Red Wing. And the time when a Pecos was worn just for working is long ago. It is the perfect boot for the urban prairie, for biker or just to stroll around. At the end of the last year it was  launched a very special Pecos: this limited #4327 Red Wing x Eat Dust Pecos in this wonderful Oro russet Abilene roughout leather. The nicest Pecos ever I think! The Pecos is available at Red Wing Shoe Store Frankfurt online and in-store. AND it is strictly limited! pics | LTG + Jelle Keppens for Red Wing Heritage
