BMW MOTORRAD / MOTORCYCLES | R nineT NEW MODELS 2021

Since three months I am the proud owner of a new BMW R nineT Srambler. One of the best decisions I did the last years – after a 19 years break I decided to ride a motorbike again. And believe me the “Scrambler” is such a great bike: So powerful with its 110 ps and 1200 ccm, so nice with its puristic look and heritage design. For me the perfect bike – absolutely. In 2021 BMW will launch the next range R nineT models with new designs, technical innovations and serial extras. Very interesting, but if I really like the new designs especially of the Scrambler … hm …  I don’t know, but feel free to take a peek. Reduced to the max and most plainness I choose a pure brushed aluminium tank which is still available as an extra 😉 For more and detailed information please visit BMW Motorrad

BIRKENSTOCK ARIZONA CAMOUFLAGE AND BLUE/WHITE NATURAL LEATHER COMBI

Birkenstock launched some very nice new Arizona styles. And summer arrived in middle Germany. As you know I am addicted in wearing boots all day, but I also love these so comfortable sandals by Birkenstock Made in Germany to let my feet breath some fresh air, when it is hot outside … the Japanese way 😉 One of my absolute favorites are the new camouflage and blue/white colored Arizona sandals. Great the combination of the white sole and buckles with the deep blue nature leather. These are perfect to combine with f.ex. Tellason’s olive Fatigue pant and Selvedge Denim. Barefoot for sure :)) … no socks, no limits.

ONDURA DURABLE GOODS | THE PERFECT HORN COMB COMBINED WITH ITS PERFECT LEATHER CASE

Every morning after I pulled on my Tellason denim, I put a knife into the right front pocket and a comb to the left back pocket. As using pomade daily a good working comb is a-must-have for me. And since decades I am looking for the perfect comb. Sometimes I thought I found the one I was looking for, but I was never perfectly satisfied. But since I got my Ondura Durable Goods combs I think I can stop looking for the perfect comb. The combs lie perfect in the hand and it makes me every time smile when I use one of these beauties, because they work best. Not to heavy, not to light – just perfect. The combs are made of real horn and each one is unique by its color, signed with a small Ondura logo on one side. And what I like most is that every comb comes in a special leather case. I can’t stop touching these … The cases are available in 3 color ways: tan, brown and black and I can’t tell you what I like most. They are made of 1.5 mm thick high quality natural vegetable tanned calf leather. Very nice! I am really excited about the patina the cases will show by using them hard. You can feel that this comb and case combination is made to last. And the size is perfect too: 15 cm x 5 cm x ca. 1 cm fits every back pocket very well. GIN TONIC LIQUID FINE SOAP

Damn, this soap is a Must-Have for GIN aficionados. What a great idea. The soap comes in a heavy old school apothecary bottle and a bronze optic hand pump – really significant. When washing your hands you first will smell wonderful citrus notes followed by the smell of cinchona, which is characteristic for every Tonic Water. After washing your hands you will smell a smart juniper taste. A great experience! And don’t worry, the soap is Ph-adjusted so that your hands stay smooth and fresh. It is made in Karlsruhe, Germany. POCKETKNIFE WITH PANCAKE HOLSTER by ONDURA DURABLE GOODS

I own a lot of knives but not such a nice combination: The ONDURA pocketknife with its so well done pancake holster – an absolute must have for men loving knives, collecting knives … The knife is a simple classic German pocketknife, which was developed and produced by famous OTTER-Messer Company in Solingen/Germany. For ONDURA it was really important to get a knife which is made complete traditionally here in Germany. The blade length is 100 mm and made of carbon steel. For safety reasons it is fitted with a backlock. The handles are so nice to touch – in German we call this a “Handschmeichler” –, these are made from olive wood with a nice texture. The brass ONDURA bear in the inlay is not just nice to watch: the bear on the knife and the bear on the holster must be covered by each other – there is only one way to put the knife into the holster: bear over bear. This works perfect! The “pancake” holster is made of two 4mm thick vegetal tanned leather layers  It is clued, sewed and riveted, mould and decorated with the ONDURA bear branding. The edges are brushed and polished. ONDURA offers also the perfect belt for the holster, the Workman Belt in tan. But I think it fits my vintage DUKES belt as good … Now the holster must age in daily use … exciting about the look it will get. SELVEDGE DENIM NECKTIES | BY HEPVILLE CUSTOM CLOTHING

as you know i am a fan of bow-ties. 2 months ago i bought the first neckties ever. both patterned: one camo and one with anchors – what else –, i learnt how to tie the “AMERICAN” way and just some days later i discovered HEPVILLE’s DENIM SELVEDGE NECKTIES at facebook. it took me 3 weeks more to think about if these are must-haves. and indeed they are. each necktie is made of 8oz. selvedge denim, has a loop strap with selvedge details, are 57 inch/144 cm long and 2 9/16 inch/6,5 cm wide at the end. they are hand sewn shut with a hidden slip stitch. the blue one has white and red selvedge at both ends, the khaki beige and green neckties have white selvedge at the ends. for sure this stuff is handmade in germany by BELA the man behind HEPVILLE CUSTOM CLOTHING. check his ETSY shop there is much more great stuff like caps, vests f.ex. pics | LTG

LTG’S FAVORITE SUMMER SHOES 2013 | THE BIRKENSTOCK & YUKETEN SUEDE TRIO

since days it is summer in germany. real summer. everyday about 25 – 30 °C with nice winds, really comfortable and smooth. beside the YUKETEN ANGLER MOCs i prefer wearing my BIRKENSTOCKS. love the brown suede colored lightweight leather and the white soles. 3 days are left before going on summer holidays to spain … work is still stressing … pics | LTG
