as a frequently reader of my blog you must know that i am a great fan of the classic DANNER LIGHT BOOT. i own one pair that i mostly wear for the activity this boot was rather made for: hiking. but sometimes i take my DANNERs to the city or somewhere else because of the great comfort and the heritage and iconic look. today i found this wonderful boot which is done in a collaboration between DANNER and great BALL AND BUCK. this means 1000% americana! this DANNER LIGHT uses a special leather that’s saturated with oils and wax. i love the 10oz camouflage flanks so much and the subtle blaze orange heel stitching. found this shop because of a post from a BootOC (Boot Owners Club) member. the SNAKE OIL PROVISIONS exclusive POINTER BRAND DOUBLE NEEDLE CHORE JACKET made of duck canvas is so nice. check the details: green double-needle stitching, white contrast breast pocket with snap, antique brass buttons and a pen pocket. the jacket is hand-sewn in bristol, tennessee. with the indigo chore jacket and the navy duck canvas one it is the same: just simple as nice – great. and with the price it is the same. the S.O.P exclusive is 155 $, the indigo denim 135 $ and the navy duck canvas 90$.  pics | Snake Oil Provisions

what a great piece i found yesterday @ volls.de. last year i saw the JOMO denim stuff the first time at summer BREAD & BUTTER, berlin, and i was really excited about the vest and the jackets … and i knew that i will take the vest when it arrives at the stores. love the two different colors of this really dark blue nearly black raw denim stuff. as we know from JOMO all stuff is MADE IN THE USA. time to rock this stiff piece. pics | LTG

BROKEN HOMME | BOOTS 100% MADE IN USA

i didn’t knew about the label BROKEN HOMME before i discovered it at BLACKBIRD yesterday. all boots are 100% american made and designed in long beach, california. and they use high quality materials. do i like these boots? i don’t know … the look is okay, classic, no “schnickschnack”. but do we need another boot label? hm. it is exciting what will happen with BROKEN HOMME in the future. for sure it is a brave decision making boots today and founding a new boot label – i hope it will work. they have a very well done website where you can see the guys at work – cool. check it: www.brokenhomme.com. beside they did a collaboration with LEATHERMAN. pics | Broken Homme

BOOT OF THE DAY | #164 | THOROGOOD LACE-TO-TOE ROFFER BOOT #814-6233 BLACK

i know the THOROGOOD ROOFER BOOT very well by walking some miles in it. but not in this awesome black one #814-6233 but in the tan brown THOROGOOD iconic roofer boot #633. and funny: after a while i took the roofer special sole away and put a VIBRAM #2021 on it which is similar to the VIBRAM CHRISTY. i never really liked the #633 and so i sold it on ebay a while ago to get some more space for my boot collection. but i must tell you that this black beauty is really nice – isn’t it? i never saw the THOROGOOD ROOFER BOOT in black before i found it at  www.hickorees.com . one of the best online shops around the www.
