From above: Thedi Leathers Jacket made with old Military Canvas & brown Buffalo Leather. The unique Thedi shoulder bag is made out of a stiff brown cowhide Leather. Second combo: Fleurs de Bagne Coat made with Navy British Millerain Fabric, JK Vest from Tellason Navy Duck Canvas with white contrast stitching. Tellason utility Shirt Blue / White checked. JACK/KNIFE | REVERSIBLE JACKETS PART I: COTTON TWILL & INDIGO TWEED

he guys, hope you have had a good start into 2015! showing this wonderful JACK/KNIFE jacket is a great start for LIFE TIME GEAR blog into this new year. there are 2 different models. i will start with the “COTTON TWILL & INDIGO TWEED” reversible version. as all J/K products these jackets are highly limited. i even don’t know if they are sold completely right now. the reversible COTTON TWILL & INDIGO TWEED jacket is made of hemp and wool blend indigo speckled tweed, woven in England, and 10oz khaki twill woven in USA. the authentic natural wood buttons are hand carved. about the construction: both sides have an everlasting 3 pocket design, single needle detail work on pockets include tack reinforcement, high stitch count and 100% lockstitch construction throughout. for sure the jackets are designed, patterned, cut and sewn at the JACK/KNIFE studio in california, usa. tomorrow i will show you the “DENIM & WOOL” reversible jacket. the jackets are exclusively available at the following stores – no online sales:

guys, it’s time to hurry up because these f***ing nice vests are now available in strictly limited numbers in just a few stores. what an awesome stuff – and everything is made by hand: designed, patterned, cut & sewn at the JACK/KNIFE workshop in SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA. the duck canvas comes from MOUNT VERNON MILLS in georgia, YKK copper burr and washer rivets with oxidized double pronged donut hole buttons – everything sourced in USA. 100% single-needle lockstitch construction, cotton twill wrapped seams for reinforcement. thx KAMI that you bring us this phantastic and special rare stuff to europe with B74 SELECTED GOODS DISTRIBUTION. the list of the stores where you can get the vests is short. THE IRON HEART HAIRLINE DUCK WESTERN SHIRT & THE HICKORY STRIPE WORK SHIRT

i just own 3 IRON HEART shirts and i love these so much. after some stiffness when wearing the 11 and 12oz shirts the first times, they got smoother and smoother and meanwhile i am so satisfied of best fit and a great comfort feeling. and i think, that these will never be broken down – life time gear – what a great quality. the care isn’t a problem: cold wash, inside out and taking at once out of the wash machine when ready you don’t even need to iron it. no shrinking, nothing. these shirts are made in japan and have a lot of nice details you can check up in the photos. in fall i wore the shirts as a jacket, sometimes combined with a vest depending on the weather conditions. here i combined the shirts with deadstock indigo duck canvas JACK/KNIFE hunting vest and a JOE McCOy bandana. the shirts and the bandana are available @ volls.de and the vest is from B-74, frankfurt, germany. pics | LTG

BOOT OF THE DAY | #191 | DANNER x BALL AND BUCK LIGHT BOOT

as a frequently reader of my blog you must know that i am a great fan of the classic DANNER LIGHT BOOT. i own one pair that i mostly wear for the activity this boot was rather made for: hiking. but sometimes i take my DANNERs to the city or somewhere else because of the great comfort and the heritage and iconic look. today i found this wonderful boot which is done in a collaboration between DANNER and great BALL AND BUCK. this means 1000% americana! this DANNER LIGHT uses a special leather that’s saturated with oils and wax. i love the 10oz camouflage flanks so much and the subtle blaze orange heel stitching. Check the list below for all the features. this boot is a must-have, but only a few sizes are left … and for sure the boot is strictly limited. pics | Ball and Bucks

another perfect piece for spring. too long this jacket was hanging without use brand new in my cupboard. now it’s time to rock it to get the stiffness out of the denim. this jacket has a lot of wonderful details. especially the brown duck inserts at the pockets, end of the sleeves and at the waist i love so much. it has a vintage fit, pleated front, patch pockets and a buckle back. what a nice classic piece. i got this jacket from volls.de – check the AMTRAQ page to find a RISING SUN dealer near you. pics | LTG

RISING SUN MFG CO. | OUTDOOR VEST INDIGO RAW

one of my absolute favorite vests which gets better and better with every wear. it is made of selvage indigo – look at the nice details. i like this hunting styled vest with its cinch back and chambray lining. i own another raw brown duck outdoor vest from RISING SUN which is much stiffer but as nice as the indigo one. great american made stuff! pics | LTG
