These were great 3 days @ B74 Ordershow in Frankfurt, Germany. I was proud to be part of this event. It is always a pleasure to meet friends again and to get to know people I’ve never seen before. I got this little companion months ago and I think this is a really nice daily knife to carry with you. Not to big, nice to touch and not so expensive – perfect for your personal wish list or as a present for some one who appreciates this beautiful LAGUIOLE by PASSIONFRANCE. I am proud of my little knife collection from PASSIONFRANCE but I must tell you that this small LAGUIOLE is the knife I mostly take with me since I got it. It has a welded bee, the blade is a 12C27 and the handle bar is made of bone. I love the details like the “croix berger” called Hirtenkreuz in German and the simple graphic “Ressort” on the back behind the bee. The open knife is 17 cm long; folded just 9 cm. Yesterday i got a nice looking envelop with my daily post. Love this: a real hand written message brought by my postman to the letterbox. It was from JOERN POLLEX, well known as a great photographer located in Hamburg, Germany. He send me the new lookbook from FEINSCHMUCK which he photographed and did the layout – in short: a fantastic work. As a frequently reader of LTG blog you know that I am a great fan of FEINSCHMUCK from the first hour on. And now with this very well done lookbook all the work from MANFRED, MARIA and ALEX is packed into a perfect media to hand out and to look at. This necklace I wear for years 24/7. Love this simple combination of a star, little LEVI’s fingerprint when he was 2 years young and a silver boot … boots, boots and boots – a great passion for decades. The star is really nice: made of a Cuban coin from 1983. I got this once from an artist market. The star is cutting-out with a very fine and small sew – damn hand made to a hair. Great – I remember me watching a man doing this with such a patience and peace of mind. The finger print i got from my son xmas 2009 i think. And what’s about the boot? That’s a secret … Mostly i combine the necklace with my beloved POPEYE amulet by FEINSCHMUCK or an angel wing chain by PATRICK MUFF. pics | LTG
I think this is one of the most awesome pieces I own. Damn, when I got this shit out of the sack where it was packed i said “YES, YES, YES … this is it” Great. FEINSCHMUCK you did best work again. The stingray patterned hook is so nice to look at and touch and the lanyard which was done by great leather artisan ARNO BUCK needs no words. Sorry, but i must praise myself a bit because the idea for this combination i had myself. The lanyard of my beloved RED MOON wallet which is now about 9 years old breaks more and more and so i was searching for a lanyard which fits this wonderful wallet … but i couldn’t find one. So FEINSCHMUCK and ARNO had to made one. THX ALEXANDER for attending this great job and made my idea real. The anchor is a vintage piece from WERKSTATT MUENCHEN; it’s about 15 years old and I wore it a long time around my neck. enjoy the pics. pics | LTG
yesterday afternoon i got a letter from ALEXANDER VON BRONEWSKI c/o FEINSCHMUCK and master of the great BECAUSE.blog. i knew about the content of the letter … exciting: i got my new handmade MONEY CLIP with a patterned STINGRAY bronze surface: AWESOME. , about a year ago i got a hook with the same pattern and material for my PASSION FRANCE ANCHOR LONDON knife. now my bundle is complete. great work by the STROPPEs and ALEX. thank you so much. check the FEINSCHMUCK site they offer really great stuff and the the product range is growing constant. pics // © life time gear
on monday i joined the ordershow s14 @ B-74, FRANKFURT/MAIN, GERMANY. it was nice to check some new stuff and meet a lot of friends and people i never saw before. as every visit at this special ordershow it was amazing and it’s quite simple because you must not rase one label: all the distributors show great stuff. so here just some impressions. pics | LTG
isn’t that a wonderful combination? i love it. the knife is made by PassionFrance® and the style is named LONDON. it is a maritime knife and because of this i like the combination of the stingray patterned bronze hook with the golden anchor – perfect content. next time i will do a special blog post about this wonderful knife. the hook is massive bronze and very well done – hand made by MARIA and MANFRED STROPPE c/o FEINSCHMUCK. ALEXANDER V. BRONEWSKI, who does the well known and fine because.blog, works also for FEINSCHMUCK. he gave me the simple but very nice and durable lace made of kangaroo leather.
