The last days Frankfurt/M located Concept Store B74 Selected Goods posted some very nice outfit shots on Instagram ›› #b74selectedgoods. From above: Thedi Leathers Jacket made with old Military Canvas & brown Buffalo Leather. The unique Thedi shoulder bag is made out of a stiff brown cowhide Leather. Second combo: Fleurs de Bagne Coat made with Navy British Millerain Fabric, JK Vest from Tellason Navy Duck Canvas with white contrast stitching. Tellason utility Shirt Blue / White checked. 1ST PAT-RN | THE CANSIGLIO & VASSAR JACKETS

As a constant reader of LIFE-TIME-GEAR you know that I am a great fan of CRISTIANO BERTO’s label 1ST PAT-RN. Some weeks ago the german Distribution for this wonderful label Uwe E. Maier, c/o Amtraq Distribution, gave me a CANSIGLIO Jacket for me to try and a VASSAR Jacket for my wife. Both are pieces from “ THE INTERNATIONAL TRAD” collection CRISTIANO offers every season. THE INTERNATIONAL TRAD is inspired by the 1960s East Coast style, by Anglo-Saxon University style, Trad, Ivy League, Preppy and also the Modernists, who were very well dressed at this time. Both jackets are made of Herringbone di Maglia, as the bespoke Cavalry di Malgia – maybe you remember the blue Vittorio Veneto Blu Navale Jacket, posted some months ago. It is a woven knitted fabric, which keeps the shape due to a special jersey instead of a woven lining – 42% wool and 58% cotton. The Jacket is elastic and offers such a great comfort – fantastic in wearing. The Insides the jackets are unlined and edged with a cotton jersey – very complex and significant manufactured! These are perfect for colder fall days. My wife is wearing her VASSAR jacket every day since she got it. It is so great to combine a lot off different stuff with these jackets: f. ex. just an ORCIVAL sailor shirt, or preppy with a chambray shirt and a tie or a necktie – it always looks perfect! SUPER ANDY WARHOL GLASSES by RETROSUPERFUTURE “THE ICONIC SERIES”

Getting in trouble with all the glasses I wear because of blurring I decided to do a spontaneous check up @ KLAR AUGENOPTIK DARMSTADT. It was time to do this, my buddy AKRAM owner and founder of this nice shop asserted. Okay … new glasses, new frame. It took us just some minutes to do a decision for these wonderful SUPER ANDY WARHOL glasses from their THE ICONIC SERIES. This is what RETROSUPERFUTURE® tells about: “SUPER gives shape to a contemporary interpretation of the iconic style of one of the most influential modern artists – ANDY WARHOL – with an exclusive pair of optical frames. This silhouette is directly characterized by a soft, oval lens and lightweight frame composed of a tinted transparent acetate.” Beside the nice design the fit is also great – love this frame from the first minute wearing. FATIGUE PANTS by TELLASON | BRAND NEW CLASSIC STUFF

Last week Uwe E. Maier c/o Amtraq Distribution send me this brand new classic Fatigue Pants made by TELLASON. Damn – these are really nice. So comfortable, loose fit but with contemporary tapered legs for a perfect fit and look. The design is classic – Fatigue Pant in 8.5 oz cotton sateen, based on the famous OG-107: “The OG-107 was the basic work utility uniform of all branches of the United States Armed Forces from 1952 until its discontinuation in 1989. The designation came from the U.S. Army’s coloring code “Olive Green 107” and “Olive Green 507”, which were shades of dark green, the OG-107 being cotton and OG-507 polyester-cotton blend introduced in the early 1970s. Regardless of the fabric, the two shades were almost identical. The OG-107 was superseded by the Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) throughout the 1980s, and was also used by several other countries, including ones that received military aid from the United States.” TELLASON offers this modern well done  “Replica” in khaki and traditional olive. The Fatigues are Made in Italy, are pre-washed and feature a zip fly, the typical buttoned back and large front pockets. I wore the pants for the first time when doing the pics … I still wear the olive one … love it: so comfortable, so good lookin’ … So: this is what I call Life Time Gear! THE LANZA JACKET by 1ST PAT-RN | INTERNATIONAL TRAD MEET ITALIAN WORKWEAR

Last week I got a big parcel from UWE E MAIER c/o AMTRAQ DISTRIBUTION. What a surprise, he send me the 1ST PAT-RN LANZA JACKET. What an indigo beauty! I was, no I am restless excited about this 1960s Italian work wear inspired jacket. The LANZA is made in Italy of a double indigo selvedge denim. The fit is classical perfect without any needles “Schnick Schnack”, but so nice details like the selvedge seams inside and the horn buttons. It features one button flap chest pocket, 2 lower inset pockets, adjustable cuffs, rounded collar with a detachable throat tab, rear cinch and selvedge detail on the inside placket. It was delivered unwashed –  so the photos I did show the Jacket unwashed. While i am writing this lines LANZA gets its first reversed side wash – cold and light. Because of its nice indigo dying it colors slightly even when I did the photos.The jaakcet is available @ VMC, LowDownondenim, Zenit, JeansLife and The Bureau Belfast, where I got the 2 pics which show the washed LANZA – THX! I am really impressed by this great 1ST PAT-RN stuff – love this stuff expecting some more pieces next time. Christian Berto does a great job.
