1ST PAT-RN FALL/WINTER 2016 | ADVANCED WORKWEAR DESIGNED AND CRAFTED IN ITALY

I am really happy to show you some looks of the upcoming 1ST PAT-RN collection for this years Fall/Winter season. As a constant reader of LTG blog you must know that I own several pieces of 1ST PAT-RN and that I love the stuff Cristiano Berto and Silvia Piccin design and produce. The F/W collection presents a blazer using the iconic “Cavalry di Maglia” fabric in its blue navale color with naval brass gold finish buttons and beside there are two new “Tweed di Maglia” fabric concepts in a superior wool/cotton blend – looking great! The collection continues redesigned military and utility styles. Minimalist and pragmatic, always with a perfect view for details and most care of stitching and producing. The chosen fabrics offer these workwear and military styles a modern approach. For the F/W 2016 collection they used two new materials, a piece dyed moleskin, with a fade and worn out look after washing and a new 13,1 oz. Japanese technical indigo denim, with a “reactive dyed yarn”.” Exciting to see the stuff live at AMTRAQ Distribution, Frankfurt.

JOHNSON MOTORS INC. | NEW MENS T-SHIRT VINTAGE STYLES MADE IN CALIFORNIA

B74, European distributor of JOHNSON MOTORS INC., got a lot of new mens tee styles. Here you’ll find just a few of these great motives printed on different colored shirts. Made of 100% ringspun slub cotton, in our traditional slim fit with the Johnson Motors signature self rib and suture stitch. The guys from JoMo knit their own yarn that they cut, sew, dye, print and hand finish in the city of Los Angeles. All graphic art is hand drawn. T-shirts are garment dyed and pre-shrunk. My absolute favorite is style LAST MILE, the “CALIFORNIA DREAMING” helmet skull – the natural white one. The JOMO bandana is now available in four different colors: red, olive, navy and black. The colors are more intensive than in the past – cool! SUPER ANDY WARHOL GLASSES by RETROSUPERFUTURE “THE ICONIC SERIES”

Getting in trouble with all the glasses I wear because of blurring I decided to do a spontaneous check up @ KLAR AUGENOPTIK DARMSTADT. It was time to do this, my buddy AKRAM owner and founder of this nice shop asserted. Okay … new glasses, new frame. It took us just some minutes to do a decision for these wonderful SUPER ANDY WARHOL glasses from their THE ICONIC SERIES. 1ST PAT-RN VITTORIO VENETO BLU NAVALE JACKET

This 1ST PAT-RN jacket is for sure one of my most beloved pieces. It is manufactured in Veneto, Italy, from the iconic and exclusive “Cavalry di Maglia” fabric, the backbone of 1ST PAT-RN. They offer an alternative woven knitted fabric which keeps the shape due to a special jersey instead of a woven lining. I love the mix of the casual fabric and the timeless, classic cut with these wonderful copper buttons issued from Italian Navy supplier on the front and cuffs. – inspired by heritage workwear and military style. RED WING SHOES AT WORK | OXFORD RWS #8103 IN THE FIELD

yesterday i went to france to a small village named SCHEIBENHARD in the ALSAC region, just 5 miles behind the former german border line. i did art direction for one of my clients while having a photo shoot in the field with a lot of agriculture crafts to show the great range of tires and the use of these. damn, it was so hot and sticky. so it was a good decision to choose the RWS oxfords because of the traction, the comfort and the easy clean behind. sorry for these bad iphone pics from the shooting itself. but isn’t the FORD TRACTOR barn found not nice. it was built 1970 and got a new turbo machine last week. the sound is incredible. pics | LTG

yesterday i got the information from the RWS HERITAGE central europe, that the 5 new POSTMAN styles are now available @ the RWS dealers around europe. so one of the most beloved but at the same time hated styles the #101 now gets a fashion touch – with all this new colors and mostly because of the white RWS cushion crepe outsole which is really important for a lot, maybe the most of all the RWS lovers. for me, there is only one POSTMAN: the #101. here some information from RWS HERITAGE: “Red Wing Heritage proudly presents 5 new Postman shoes,  inspired by style no.101,  Red Wing’s original postman shoe. Designed, to meet Postal Service requirements,  the 101 is sturdy, sleek and simplistic and these characteristics served America’s, mailmen well. First introduced in 1954, Red Wing is now expanding on this style with five more casual variations. The new Postman shoes are built using the same leather upper as the 101 including a dog tail, blind eyelets and a Goodyear, Welt. Premium Red Wing leathers,  made at Red Wing Shoe’s very own S.B. PADDLE YOUR OWN CANOE by NICK OFFERMAN | ONE MAN’S FUNDAMENTALS FOR DELICIOUS LIVING

it was pure luck finding this really funny and exciting book written by, for me unknown, “PARKS & RECREATION” actor NICK OFFERMAN. in his first book he shares his “humorous fulminations of life, manliness, meat, and much more”. i just had the time to read over the first pages and it is great! here a short description by the editor: “Growing a perfect moustache, grilling red meat, wooing a woman, who better to deliver this tutelage than the always charming, always manly Nick Offerman, best known as Parks and Recreation’s Ron Swanson? Combining his trademark comic voice and very real expertise in woodworking, he runs his own woodshop. a friend of mine send me the pics of this wonderful RWS boot. and the best is, that you can get it actually via eBay for your lady! it is a EU size 37 – check the tag in the pic below. this boot is absolutely rare and you can’t get it anymore, anywhere. the RWS leather is combined with waxed canvas – what a nice combination. we hope that this boot will go to a girl or a lady who knows and loves the special feature of this boot – this is definitely a life time gear piece! pics | HS
