last week i got my awesome LTG buckel made by FEINSCHMUCK back with a new dark chocolate brown leather belt. this was well done by ALEXANDER v. BRONEWSKI who is doing the great BECAUSE blog. now the belt is perfect. it is made of a very nice and strong SCHACHENMEYER leather and ALEX did the perfect size for me: best fit! and he put a really great surprise on to the belt: inside the belt he embossed my initials EJ and LTG with two stars. great idea! thank you so much ALEX! pics | LTG
as a great POPEYE fan i own my talisman from FEINSCHMUCK since they’ve done the first pieces one year ago. beside the talisman, FEINSCHMUCK does a POPEYE BELT BUCKLE and different POPEYE ZIPPOS. all pieces are manufactured by hand by the small FEINSCHMUCK team in bavaria, germany. these pieces are made of bronze and you can get it with patina or without. in germany you find this great stuff at PETER FIELDS, berlin, and B-74 in frankfurt, main. pics | Alexander v. LTG’s POPEYE TALISMAN, after 13 month of wear
yesterday i joined B-74’s 5TH anniversary event. it was really nice to meet some friends there and it was a relaxed atmosphere. good people, drinks and food – at the perfect location! all in the invitation listed artisans and merchants were there. KAMI and his staff did a perfect job – smooth. at the same time i could take a peak to UWE E.MAIER’s new AMTRAQ show room which is on the 3rd floor in the same building berliner strasse 74: perfect! pics | LTG
he guys, today KAMI c/o B-74 told me that the line up for the 5TH birthday event of the shop is fixed. happy to hear that FEINSCHMUCK and PassionFrance® will be in FRANKFURT next saturday 30TH NOVEMBER. FEINSCHMUCK will show a lot of works and the upcoming new collection 2014. between all the heavy work these days i took the time to visit good friends and checked up some new stuff at wonderful arranged new showroom B-74 SHOWROOM FOR SELECTED BRANDS in frankfurt/main, germany, yesterday evening. f***! so great stuff. AMTRAQ (Tellason, Tanner Goods, DEHEN1920, TOPO Designs, Rising Sun, REDS, Golden Bear Sports wear, Croots England, L.I. Sounders, FEINSCHMUCK, Kay Heldsdörfer, Rancourt & Co), Levis Vintage Clothing, Levis Made and Crafted, Otter Wax, Merz b. Schwanen, Gitta Plotniki, Scarti Lab and Blue Blanket show their stuff for ordering in a really great atmosphere. KAMI’s B-74 is the right location for these brands and i think this won’t be the last time. it is difficult to tell you about my favorites. but really impressing were: RISING SUN, SCARTI LAB, Merz b. Schwanen, Blue Blanket and Golden Bear. the awesome FEINSCHMUCK stuff i knew and a lot of UWE E. MAIER’s AMTRAQ stuff too. most surprising was OTTER WAX. KAMI told me a lot about the different stuff they offer. from saddle soap to fragrances and beard oil. i was really impressed and i know that the beard oil and the forest smelling fragrance will find their way to my cupboard – damn good smelling! exciting was the new LVC collection: very-cowboy-look-a-like. but not traditional old school but for the 70s and 80s urban cowboy. difficult, but with some nice pieces. KAMI, Uwe, Dirk c/o MBS, Stefan, Andy … arranged a well tasting barbecue with a lot of cold drinks and so i’ve had a short but really smooth evening over the roofs of frankfurt. pics | LTG
last week i got a large letter from POPEYE. hahahahah … ? but, yes, from POPEYE, look at the photo of the letter below. as a constant reader of my blog you know that i am a great POPEYE fan and the best POPEYE accessory i ever got was the talisman which gave MARIA from feinschmuck.de and ALEX from because blog to me some weeks ago. and damn, the POPEYE who send me this awesome MISSOURI MEERSCHAUM CORN COB PIPE was ALEX again. thanks again, ALEX – great idea! and funny, it is some years ago but i was a passionate pipe smoker for about 3 years after i stopped smoking my beloved dark GITANES. i wish, spring will come soon so that i can test the pipe on our terrace over the roofs of DARMSTADT CITY. ALEX gave me a complete small pipe survival kit with the pipe – perfect and well done. thank you. bad pics | LTG
at the beginning of november 2012 i met MARIA c/o FEINSCHMUCK and ALEXANDER c/o because blog with UWE from AMTRAQ. MARIA & ALEX gave me a present – the best they could give me as great POPEYE fan from childhood on: an awesome POPEYE TALISMAN made by FEINSCHMUCK. it was so hard not to post this beautiful piece the last weeks because the product launch will be next week at BREAD & BUTTER in berlin at the AMTRAQ stall – but UWE gave me the GO for today. by the way: thanks again so much MARIA & ALEX for this LIFE TIME GEAR. i wear POPEYE nearly every day. beside this medallion FEINSCHMUCK did some other stuff which will be distributed by AMTRAQ. one highlight is the POPEYE BELT. the result of a collaboration between FEINSCHMUCK & TANNER GOODS. check out the other stuff below: vintage western buckles, popeye belt buckles and medallions in different looks and a mega beautifull heavy anchor. all FEINSCHMUCK bronze objects are locally manufactured by a small team in bavaria, germany. i am really excited about the feedback at B&B. pics | LTG & AMTRAQ
