The last weeks I relaunched the www.tellason.de site and online shop. I did a lot of new photos to give the page a clear and uniform look. I also put the new spring/summer stuff 2021 online we stock here at the Tellason Germany warehouse in Frankfurt. It is just a small selection but you’ll find a lot of “Life Time Gear” pieces. One of my absolute favorites is the combination of the bone colored “Baker Jacket”, “JK Vest” and “Work Pant”. The short version of Tellason’s iconic “Fatigue Pant” will be your best companion for the upcoming summer – available in olive, navy and british tan made of 100% cotton sateen. Also perfect for summer and warmer spring days is this new stuff made of 100% lightweight Ripstop cotton: “Field Jacket”, “BDU Jacket”, “Fatigue Pants” in black and olive and the “Bowling Shirt” … What are your Tellason summertime favorites?
We also restocked the Garment Dyed “Coverall Jackets” made in USA of 13oz. bull denim … I own myself the “Mustard” and the “International Orange” one. I think you can’t have enough Coverall Jackets 😉 this is what I call “Life Time Gear” at its best. Have a great weekend folks.
This DeLorean concept is maybe the most beautiful Electric Car I’ve ever seen. The “DeLorean Motor Company (DMC)” became famous because of its star role in the blockbuster “Back To The Future”. Car designer Angel Guerra did “a tribute to this icon that marked his childhood” with this concept. Next year “Back To The Future” will celebrate its 40th anniversary. Guerra did the best birthday present to DMC and the fans of this outstanding car and iconic film. Find much more pics at Guerra’s Website and Instagram account … and don’t forget to follow him!
In 1976, Banzai Inc. released one of the most timeless skateboard designs in the culture’s history. Made entirely from anodized aluminum and featuring one of the world’s first double kicktails, it went on to become an icon of sidewalk surfing. 43 years after its initial release the original Banzai is back with a limited edition rerun. Limited to 50 pieces per color and size, two board sizes (23.5” & 28.5”) were reproduced in collaboration with the rights holder of the original Banzai trademark. Each Banzai skateboard comes in a high-grade collector’s box featuring signed art prints by David Carson, Jay Nelson, Nathaniel Russell, Todd Glaser or Cole Barash. All boards come with grippy urethane wheels, custom ceramic bearings, lightweight trucks, stainless mounting parts and a respective tool. Due to their hand-brushed finish the boards can be skated without grip tape and can be considered nearly water-proof. Maybe the most durable collector’s item of all time. I was no Skateboarder at any time, but I saw this beautiful collectors case at Amtraq who will distribute Banzai … and this box fits perfect to one of my office walls.
It’s this time to hunt for special present ideas … almost for people who own everything. So what’s about the NASA Original Blanket found @ COOL MATERIAL? I love it! Most people dream some day of going to space. Mission impossible. So take a little NASA home! Rumpl’s NASA edition of the Original Puffy Blanket and Stuff Sack was created in honour of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 13 mission. This spacy blanket combines modern comfort with space age technology: Nylon shell and 100% post-consumer recycled polyester insulation. Heat-reflective 20D nylon shell. DWR finish for stain and water resistance. Cape Clip for hands-free use. NASA space suit inspired Tyvek product label. Water-resistant NASA stuff sack included. And if this will not be enough to live your dreams what’s about some Astronaut Ice Cream? Astronaut ice cream is an out of this world treat. Originally developed for space travel, this creamy-sweet freeze-dried astronaut food will give a taste of outer space right here on Earth. Ready-to-eat, yet shelf stable for up to 3 years, it’s made out of 100% real ice cream yet built to last the test of time.
Since three months I am the proud owner of a new BMW R nineT Srambler. One of the best decisions I did the last years – after a 19 years break I decided to ride a motorbike again. And believe me the “Scrambler” is such a great bike: So powerful with its 110 ps and 1200 ccm, so nice with its puristic look and heritage design. For me the perfect bike – absolutely. In 2021 BMW will launch the next range R nineT models with new designs, technical innovations and serial extras. Very interesting, but if I really like the new designs especially of the Scrambler … hm … I don’t know, but feel free to take a peek. Reduced to the max and most plainness I choose a pure brushed aluminium tank which is still available as an extra 😉 For more and detailed information please visit BMW Motorrad
It’s been a while ago when I did my last post … damn … more than one year … There are a lot of reasons for this – too many to list. From today on I will try to publish regularly again @ LIFE TIME GEAR.
Some weeks ago I did a newsletter for B74 Selected Goods when I was wearing some of my favourite brands ›› Manifattura Ceccarelli (Mountain Jacket), TSPTR (T-Shirts, Sweater), Blaumann Jeanshosen (Schmaler Blaumann), Red Wing Heritage (Iron Ranger #8083) and Ralf Kellenberger (Jewellery). All stuff is made in Germany, Italy, Portugal and USA – LIFE TIME GEAR at its best! To learn more about the brands and especially the stuff I wore check the links.
Last Friday one day after I shot The John Lindberg Trio @ Schlossgrabenfest 2019 in Darmstadt, Germany, I have had the pleasure to shoot JohnZ. One of my best friends and my barber Olli is JohnZ’ Upright Bass player. And it was a great live gig too. It is always the same with the public: if the people hear some pure and plain well done Rock’n’Roll they stop and stay listening, till their feet begin to dance wilder and wilder. This what music is for! This is for what Rock’n’Roll is for!! On the first weekend of July I will be again with the Bend at famous Darmstadt City Party “Heinerfest”. Lazi, Konrad, Tom and Olli, see you at Goldene Krone in three weeks! #johnzrocks @johnzrock
End of last week I have had the pleasure to shoot John Lindberg Trio “JLT” live on stage at Schlossgrabenfest Darmstadt, Germany. It was a blast! So nice to hang around with JLT and JohnZ. JohnZ’ upright bass player Olli The Barber arranged the gig of JLT at Schlossgrabenfest. In March Thiemo Gutfried, one of the organizers of this big party – last year 400.000 people joined the concerts over four days – heard JLT, when he was at Olli’s Barber Shop. A funny story in short: He thought, that JLT was covering songs from JohnZ, but it was just the opposite Olli told him: JohnZ is covering four songs of the Swedish R’n’R trio. Thiemo was excited about JLT’S music and Olli invited John to play at Schlossgrabenfest 2019. Long talk short sense: JLT was booked! It was a great Rock’n’Roll party last Thursday and the audience was so excited about the band. Crowds listened and danced to JLT’s rousing show. The band allowed me to take pictures on stage … this was a new experience for me and I loved it … Hope to see the guys again at Schlossgrabenfast 2020!
