guys, it’s time to hurry up because these f***ing nice vests are now available in strictly limited numbers in just a few stores. what an awesome stuff – and everything is made by hand: designed, patterned, cut & sewn at the JACK/KNIFE workshop in SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA. the duck canvas comes from MOUNT VERNON MILLS in georgia, YKK copper burr and washer rivets with oxidized double pronged donut hole buttons – everything sourced in USA. 100% single-needle lockstitch construction, cotton twill wrapped seams for reinforcement. thx KAMI that you bring us this phantastic and special rare stuff to europe with B74 SELECTED GOODS DISTRIBUTION. the list of the stores where you can get the vests is short. JOHNSON MOTORS INC. DEADSTOCK DENIM

yes, today i got another xmas present. FRED c/o redwing.1905 blog brought me a special piece of denim from LOS ANGELES which he picked up there two weeks ago: a wonderful JOMO jeans made of vintage deadstock raw denim with a lot of details. thanks to SEAN, JULIO and EDDY from JOMO, LA. i think the denim is about 14.oz and the structure of the cotton is really interesting and looking old school. very nice the two different seams at the back pockets – good idea. my pant is the first made with this closed top button; the buttons before have had a whole in the middle. the legs are open seemed and the fit is really tight and tapered. for sure this rare piece of denim is handmade at JOMO headquater in LA by taylor JULIO. HANDCRAFTED BAG #214 BY ATELIER DE L’ARMÉE

some weeks ago i got this BAG214 from ATELIER DE L’ARMÉE. it is wonderful, so practical. just one zip and you get to all the things you carry with you. as a business bag i prefer my FILSON PADDED COMPUTER BAG, but for city trips or just visiting a friend it is not so practical, too heavy, to big. the 214 has a lot of features. outside it is made of deadstock cowhide leather and dutch army woodland camouflage battleshirt fabric. one bag inside is made of japanese selvage denim, an iphone bag is made of cowhide leather and the lining is made of dutch army thermo pant and rain poncho. the handles and the strap are made of swiss army rifle slings. these must be really vintage: the smell strong. but it gets better from week to week. the tote bag is completely made by hand in amsterdam, netherlands, and can be made to order. it takes about 4 to 6 weeks between purchase and delivery. take a look @ the video where you will meet ELZA WANDLER and JOOST DOESWIJK who are ATELIER DE L’ARMÉE. pics | LTG || vid | ATELIER DE L’ARMÉE

this RWS IRISH SETTER PECOS #866 in my favorite “ORO RUSSET” RED WING color is really hard to find today. i got this boot one year ago from a deadstock in the US or JAPAN – i can’t remember. i wear this one carefully with the awareness that i will never get such a great PECOS anymore. i love this boot and style far away from fashion and mainstream. this boot shows where RED WING SHOES come from – the PECOS is a RWS true iconic work boot!
