B74 ORDERSHOW S/S 2017 | DAY #00 “READY TO RUMBLE”

The next days I will be @ the B74 ORDERSHOW in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, to stay in contact with good friends, meet people and check all this great new stuff from the labels which will be presented. Even today while the set-up was done I find some really nice and interesting stuff. The whole day it was really busy around B74. The empty and clean area got filled hour by hour – exciting. So Kami owner and founder of B74 told me: “We are ready to rumble!” I am happy to be part of this ORDERSHOW the next 4 days. pics | LTG

ORDERSHOW SS2016 @ B74 SELECTED GOODS, FRANKFURT GERMANY | PART #01

Last Thursday I went to B74, Frankfurt, Germany, to meet good friends and to check up some upcoming stuff for S/S 2016. As every time it was great – KAMI & IRIS are perfect hosts. Again it was a really hot day in the middle of Frankfurt City, but the vibes downstairs and the temperatures were so cool and really smooth. Beside a lot of nice stuff from PASSIONFRANCE, JOHNSON MOTORS INC., SCARTI LAB, REDWING SHOES etc., I had two highlights: the upcoming collections from 1ST PAT-RN and PRIVATE WHITE VC. And both sales men, CRISTIANO (1ST PAT-RN) and DIRK were so kind to explain me in detail the stuff with such an emotion and addiction that I could have been listened to for hours. … but time was running. THE REAL MCCOY’S HELMET BAG | US AIR FORCE

Helmet Bag? Since weeks this bag is my daily carrier – sure not for working: FILSON rules! –, but for all other activities. Sometimes I even take it as my sports bag – my soccer shoes and a towel fit into this bag and a 1 ltr. bottle of mineral water too. The bag is lightweight, made of nylon, has three interior pockets a shoulder strap so that I easily can take it with me on the bike. The zip is a heavy one and the lining soft. Just perfect – hope it will last forever! Take a look at the photos what I got with me when I was @ the doctors this morning. About the look we have do not have to speak: it’s simple, classic, without any useless shit, military inspired – perfect. Bought this bag last year @ volls.de. It was and is not online and I do not know if he has some more in stock. Ask him! pics | LTG

STETSON CORDELE FUR FELT HAT | SOLD BY STATEMENT – THE DENIM STORE

just saw a pic of the new munich denim store STATEMENT posted by founder & owner KAY KNIPSCHILD and i felt in love with this wonderful hat. two days later this great lookin’ STETSON was put to my hat collection @ the LIFE-TIME-GEAR office. the CORDELE is made from premium quality fur felt, fully lined in a gold-bronze STESON fabric and there is a leather sweat band on the inside. the nice grosgrain band around the hat crown carries a wonderful colored feather. the crown is about 10 cm high and the brim 6cm wide. i love the look of the hat so much because with the brim turned up this fedora is such a nice mix between a classic fedora and a western-look-a-like hat – just perfect.

the STATEMENT store is owned by “JOSH” aka CHRISTIAN HEISE and KAY. i think they did a great job, when i take a look at the pics of the new store opened just 3 weeks ago. their vision was to bring the DENIM & BOOTS SPIRIT to GLOCKENBACHVIERTEL in MUNICH, germany. the STATEMENT store is located just beside the RED WING STORE MUNICH – not the worst idea! beside a big range of raw denim JOSH & KAY present a selected range of WHITE’S BOOTS. the store is full of awesome unique stuff from american flea markets – check the pics below. RAW DENIM, BEER, BOOTS, BIKES, GIN, TALKIN’, MEETING FRIENDS @ 5TH MAENNERABEND AT BREMERCIH JEANS, ILLINGEN, GER

as last year it was again a fantastic event in the out of nowhere in SAARLAND, germany, near the previous french border. great, what the BREMERICH FAMILY particularly OLI BREMERICH and his team from the shop arrange and organize for MAENNERABEND every year. the guys in and around this small town ILLINGEN can be lucky! also, here out in the country the people are so cool, so kind and so honest – a great atmosphere! when i sometimes join events in big towns the folks are often so bigheaded and such a kind of fake. so what, this was a wonderful night, which was much too short … time was running so fast. a big thank you again to KATJA & OLI BREMERICH for best hospitably. for me it is something like coming home when visiting OLI & KATJA. i did a lot of pics so i will post a second part later. pics // LTG

5TH MAENNERABEND @ BREMERICH JEANS, ILLINGEN, GERMANY

today i got a parcel from OLI BREMERICH owner of BREMERICH JEANS, ILLINGEN, GERMANY. wonderful, because it’s “MAENNERABEND” time again and OLI wants me to get stimulated for tomorrow evening. so he send me 2 bottles of FERDINANDS DRY GIN and the official invitation, i made for him. great idea. while writing this post i try the SAAR QUINCE GIN i did not know before – just on the rocks, without tonic or water. sounds great for me as a RIESLING lover, because this “SLOE GIN” is “riesling wine infused”. f***, what a great taste. this golden stuff is at the same time so smooth and tasty. and FERDINAND’S  DRY GIN – one of my absolute GIN favorites –, which is made of 30 fine botanicals from the local vineyards is so perfect done too. okay, enough compliments: take your own bottle of FERDINANDS and enjoy it – for more information and shopping, check www.saar-gin.de. you may ask why OLI send this stuff to me? not just to prepare for tomorrow eveining, but the owner of FERDINAND’S will do a gin tasting at  “MAENNERABEND”. furthermore UWE E. MAIER c/o AMTRAQ DISTRIBUTION, ROB and KEITH from EAT DUST will join the event and show some stuff of their actual and upcoming collections. beside OLI will show the folks some new stuff from FILSON, RED WING SHOES and various JAPANESE DENIMs. great, i am happy to join an evening with friends tomorrow … photos // LTG

on monday i joined the ordershow s14 @ B-74, FRANKFURT/MAIN, GERMANY. it was nice to check some new stuff and meet a lot of friends and people i never saw before. as every visit at this special ordershow it was amazing and it’s quite simple because you must not rase one label: all the distributors show great stuff. so here just some impressions. pics | LTG

ORDERSHOW AMTRAQ @ B-74 IN FRANKFURT/MAIN

last thursday i took a ride to B-74 with my brother to join the ordershow of AMTRAQ. i was not in the mood to check up new stuff and so i did just some people shots, talked a lot with friends and had a very nice meal with all the guys and girls at RITZ ffm around the corner B-74. thx DIRK for the invitation. it was nearly a familial atmosphere there two days ago, because a lot of people left the show to get some days off before the next event starts at ZURICH, switzerland next tuesday. pics | LTG
