TELLASON | NEW FATIGUE PANT MADE OF 7.5 OZ BRITISH KHAKI TWILL FROM JAPAN

In February 2016 I wrote a blog post about 2 TELLASON Fatigue pants made of 8.5 oz cotton sateen in Olive Green and Khaki. These 2 pants where my constant companions this summer. The guys @ TELLASON now did a third Fatigue Pant, which is even smoother than the first I got. I love this touch and feel from the first moment on I tried this pant. It is TELLASON’s take on the iconic OD-107 fatigue pant from the Vietnam area. The new Fatigue comes in 7.5 oz 100% cotton twill from Japan, raw and unwashed, but so comfortable. With a tapered leg, zip fly, flap back pockets. For sure made in San Francisco. For more information check the AMTRAQ site for dealers where to buy this nice TELLASON stuff or contact Kami @ B74. pics | LTG

THE GREASER “MICK T-SHIRT” | THE SELVEDGE YARD x NICK THE TAILOR COLLABORATION

Yesterday I went to the customs to pick up my “Greaser Mick” collaboration t-shirt. Following TSY “THE SELVEDGE YARD” from the first days on I am interested in checking cool blogs, I was so happy to get this extraordinary t-shirt. What a cool motive for me as a great DISNEY and Rockabilly aficionado. The illustration was made by NICK THE TAILOR a Philadelphian artist and tattooist – very well done Nick! The shirt is high quality printed in Philadelphia on a 100% cotton American Apparel stuff made in the USA. Because of a good working networking I saw this great shirt the first time at DON SCHWEDEs Facebook site linked to his great blog “THE LAST DON” – thx. pics | LTG

JOHNSON MOTORS INC. | NEW MENS T-SHIRT VINTAGE STYLES MADE IN CALIFORNIA

B74, European distributor of JOHNSON MOTORS INC., got a lot of new mens tee styles. Here you’ll find just a few of these great motives printed on different colored shirts. Made of 100% ringspun slub cotton, in our traditional slim fit with the Johnson Motors signature self rib and suture stitch. The guys from JoMo knit their own yarn that they cut, sew, dye, print and hand finish in the city of Los Angeles. All graphic art is hand drawn. T-shirts are garment dyed and pre-shrunk. My absolute favorite is style LAST MILE, the “CALIFORNIA DREAMING” helmet skull – the natural white one. The JOMO bandana is now available in four different colors: red, olive, navy and black. FATIGUE PANTS by TELLASON | BRAND NEW CLASSIC STUFF

Last week Uwe E. Maier c/o Amtraq Distribution send me this brand new classic Fatigue Pants made by TELLASON. Damn – these are really nice. So comfortable, loose fit but with contemporary tapered legs for a perfect fit and look. The design is classic – Fatigue Pant in 8.5 oz cotton sateen, based on the famous OG-107: “The OG-107 was the basic work utility uniform of all branches of the United States Armed Forces from 1952 until its discontinuation in 1989. The designation came from the U.S. Army’s coloring code “Olive Green 107” and “Olive Green 507”, which were shades of dark green, the OG-107 being cotton and OG-507 polyester-cotton blend introduced in the early 1970s. Regardless of the fabric, the two shades were almost identical. The OG-107 was superseded by the Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) throughout the 1980s, and was also used by several other countries, including ones that received military aid from the United States.” TELLASON offers this modern well done  “Replica” in khaki and traditional olive. The Fatigues are Made in Italy, are pre-washed and feature a zip fly, the typical buttoned back and large front pockets. I wore the pants for the first time when doing the pics … I still wear the olive one … love it: so comfortable, so good lookin’ … So: this is what I call Life Time Gear! The pants are exclusively available @ B74, Cultizm, UBS Classics, Riders Room, Gross4 Aces, Trekkingladen Regensburg, Bremerich Jeans, Denim & Iron and Lord. pics | LTG

JUST SOME X-MAS PRESENT IDEAS | #09 TELLASON W10 LONG SLEEVE SINGLE POCKET SHIRT

Damn, aren’t these nice? This week Uwe E. Mair c/o AMTRAQ DISTRIBUTION gave me the new SINGLE POCKET LONG SLEEVE SHIRT by TELLASON in two different versions. The shirt is based on a dress shirt from the 1950s which TONY PATELLA, founder and co-owner of TELLASAON, got in his vintage collection. I love this authentic old-school look, with that big, masculine collar, one front pocket and the “heavy duty” finish. The dark navy one is made of an unwashed 7.5oz twill from japan. Take a look at the Corozo (ivory nut) buttons – so nice. The stripped shirt is made of a Cone Mills White Oak vintage reproduction 100% cotton fabric. Its look is smarter and the wear is it too … not so heavy duty. The fabric has a softer touch – very comfortable and a great look with its stripes. Same cut, but tow different wonderful shirts – both Made in San Francisco, California. For your last xmas buys check the TELLASON site. In Switzerland call or write to VMC and in Germany B74, Riders Room, Jeanslife, Denim&Iron, Bube&König, John Tweed and great Gentlemen’s Skateshop. By the way, the orange bandana is also from TELLASON, the red/white/blue one from Joe McCoy and the vests are made by JackKnife. pics | LTG

TUSCAN HUNTING VEST by GRP

A while ago I went with my family to MANUFACTUM, Frankfurt/Main as we often do on Saturdays. It’s great to have breakfast there … such kind service, best selfmade food and a great view to the “Alte Oper” (opera) Frankfurt. After breakfast we walk around looking about. Just nice. So I found this nice Tuscan Hunting Vest by Italian manufacture GRP which I mostly know for their well done knitted fabrics. Saw this vest … had to take it with me. I love this style, this large curved pockets. Nice to wear with its 100% chambray cotton lining. It is made of cotton, has 2 front pockets, 1 small breast pocket and a large back pocket as usual for hunting vests. Really practicable: 2 inside pockets with zippers. The buttons are made of horn – very nice. The vest isn’t too heavy, nearly smooth. You can get it directly from MANUFACTUM’s online store. pics | LTG

CARHARTT WIP X SLAM JAM | SJ PUTTY MICHIGAN COAT

Nice: sold out … @ the WIP CARHARTT online store for Europe this wonderful jacket isn’t available anymore – I like this, because I own on – ha! In spite of the 100% 12oz “Dearborn” canvas the jacket is really smooth and perfect for those early summer days especially in the morning and late evenings. I love the handmade painted and coated “PUTTY” style – it looks so one-of-a-kind a like. Take a look at the snaps and the special “square label”. This is a collaboration that works! Do you know SLAM JAM? Here just a few facts – you’ll find more about @ the WIP Page: “… For the past twenty-five years, Slam Jam have been eagerly exploring the world, listening, observing, intercepting trends, editing and mixing them up. The result is a bridge that joins streetwear and fashion. Music, visual arts and the energy from underground cultures have always been the fuel for Slam Jam’s engine. A childlike enthusiasm for this world made the rest. …” Beside the “PUTTY” range you’ll find two other styles. Check it out … This stuff is really special! pics | LTG

THE IRON HEART HAIRLINE DUCK WESTERN SHIRT & THE HICKORY STRIPE WORK SHIRT

i just own 3 IRON HEART shirts and i love these so much. after some stiffness when wearing the 11 and 12oz shirts the first times, they got smoother and smoother and meanwhile i am so satisfied of best fit and a great comfort feeling. and i think, that these will never be broken down – life time gear – what a great quality. the care isn’t a problem: cold wash, inside out and taking at once out of the wash machine when ready you don’t even need to iron it. no shrinking, nothing. these shirts are made in japan and have a lot of nice details you can check up in the photos. in fall i wore the shirts as a jacket, sometimes combined with a vest depending on the weather conditions. here i combined the shirts with deadstock indigo duck canvas JACK/KNIFE hunting vest and a JOE McCOy bandana. the shirts and the bandana are available @ volls.de and the vest is from B-74, frankfurt, germanypics | LTG
