Nice: sold out … @ the WIP CARHARTT online store for Europe this wonderful jacket isn’t available anymore – I like this, because I own on – ha! In spite of the 100% 12oz “Dearborn” canvas the jacket is really smooth and perfect for those early summer days especially in the morning and late evenings. BUTTS AND SHOULDERS | THE ROUGH COLLECTION – NEW BAG COLLECTION LAUNCHED

Some day ago I got some news from my buddy WOUTERS co-founder of BUTTS AND SHOULDERS and the man behind the great LONG JOHN blog. They launched their new collection named “THE ROUGH COLLECTION”. this collection “are variations on our beloved virgins”, they say, “The same bold Butts and Shoulders style and the same attention it deserves. Clean and classic with a lot of style!”. So the collection features the 3 classic BAS bags: Travel Bag, Worker Bag – my favorite – and the Post Bag. All models are now availabe in four new treated leather variations: brown (cognac),  dark brown,  dark Green (army) and striped blue/black leather. On every bag the brnading is sprayed by hand. And for sure these great bags will getting even nicer by using them everyday. As all BAS stuff these bags are made in Holland, Europe, in stricly limited quantities. ICONIC TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 70 IS RE-RELEASED FOR ITS 30TH ANNIVERSARY

i remember the times in the 80s when SUVs, sorry, off-road vehicles where driven by hunter, construction manager, forest worker or expedition teams here in germany. and when i think at these days there comes one characteristic bold and edged big car to my mind: the TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 70. mostly seen in sand or dark green and blue colors. and you still see these models from the early 80s in the streets here in germany. whatever, TOYOTA JAPAN celebrates the 30 anniversary of this iconic model with a re-releasing for just the year 2014. it is powered by a 4.0L V6 engine, a part time 4WheelDrive and some other nice contemporary features for about $35.000. the only problem is to get this 2K TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 70 from japan to germany or anywhere else. pics & film | © TOYOTA

RED WING SHOES | JAPAN LIMITED CANOE MOC WORK BOOT #9850 / #9851

what a found … did you hear about this japan limited RWS 6 inch boot? sorry, me not. you like? i do not know – but i think, i like the hybrid between the classic RWS moc toe and a canoe or boat shoe. the boots are available in the wonderful GOLD RUSSET SEQUOIA and ORO RUSSET. they show the classic 50s IRISH SETTER label and come in the retro box from this time. pics | THREEWOOD + FOOT TIME

LIMITED INDIGO DYED 8 OZ. CLAMPDOWN SHIRT | by TELLASON

some weks ago i got this wonderful TELLASON shirt from UWE E.MAIER c/o AMTRAQ DISTRIBUTION. it is the classic 8 oz. canvas CLAMPDOWN shirt which was khaki before it was dyed with nature indigo. this was done by the crop-dye factory in NEUBRANDENBURG, germany which does all the indigo dyed MERZ B. SCHWANEN shirts. the first run was limited to 24 pieces … mine is #04. i love this irregular nature dying. you can get this shirt just at selected dealers here in germany f.ex. B-74 and RIDERS ROOM. i am very excited how the shirt will look like when it was washed the first time. i should to do this because of marking off – i will show you the result. here some facts of the CLAMPDOWN shirt: fabric made in USA by MOUNT VERNON MILLS, cut and sewn in SAN FRANCISCO, knife and pencil holders sewn into chest pockets, top flap of pocket lined with CONE MILLS WHITE OAK 7.5 oz denim. pics | LTG

L.G.R. X KLAR COLLABORATION | 20 PIECES LIMITED SUNGLASSES EDITION

italian high-end eyewear and sunglasses manufacturer L.G.R. did a collaboration with KLAR, my favorite optician at my hometown DARMSTADT, germany. AKRAM, owner of KLAR, send me a short video teaser of the collab – really interesting! so i did some pics of this special sunglasses handmade in italy. L.G.R. and KLAR did a strictly 20 limited pieces model which has a special color combination just used for this collab. every piece has its own product number from 1 to 20, a special case and a cleaning cloth with a L.G.R. X KLAR print. the glass is made by BABERINI, polarized in grey/blue – one of the best real glasses you can get today. beside these sunglasses KLAR sells certainly other collections from L.G.R. f.ex. the wonderful and although limited SAFARI COLLECTION. pics | LTG
