Next day … time is running at B74 ORDERSHOW – too fast: Day #03. It was again a very relaxed but at the same time busy day for the exhibitors, the catering and for me … always on the run. But again I met people in a really good temper. I got some interesting new contacts, heard a lot of about new products, collections and other detailed things you’ll never ever hear about if not talking to these professionals, these insiders – I love it! B74 ORDERSHOW S/S 2017 | DAY #02 “SHINING SO BRIGHT – THE SUN OVER FRANKFURT AND THE VIBES @ ORDERSHOW B74”

Second day @ B74 ORDERSHOW. Not such a smooth start as yesterday because of f***ing Frankfurt city traffic – a lot of road works: too much. Orange Beast brought me in under 15 Minutes from DA to FFM, but then it took me about an hour from the first FFM road sign to B74. Breathing … calm down … and then the sun went up, blue sky, just some cool clouds, the banking towers, the B74 sign, beloved SPIDERMAN: what a view, when you reach the parking lot of B74! This view compensated all trouble before. After the first espresso I started my daily tour and met a really good friend: Oli Breitwieser from RIDERS ROOM in Hamburg, Germany. It was 2 years ago we met the last time – damn. And it was an absolute pleasure to meet Sven Eden, the owner of RIDERS ROOM. Seen so often @ social media but today for the first time live – great! B74 ORDERSHOW S/S 2017 | DAY #01 “GETTING STARTED … MUCH TRAFFIC …”

This morning B74 ORDERSHOW started. For me a smooth start cruisin’ 30 kilometers with the Orange Beast straight to my parking lot directly in front of B74 – thx for this comfort, KAMI – this is f***in great! While getting my equipment ready it was really busy at the stalls around me … here just some impressions. B74 ORDERSHOW S/S 2017 | DAY #00 “READY TO RUMBLE”

The next days I will be @ the B74 ORDERSHOW in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, to stay in contact with good friends, meet people and check all this great new stuff from the labels which will be presented. Even today while the set-up was done I find some really nice and interesting stuff. The whole day it was really busy around B74. The empty and clean area got filled hour by hour – exciting. So Kami owner and founder of B74 told me: “We are ready to rumble!” I am happy to be part of this ORDERSHOW the next 4 days. pics | LTG

Got a box with 2 BRÜTTING DIAMOND BRAND trainers some days ago to check the stuff. And I was surprised – really. BLAUMANN JEANSHOSEN | RAW JAPAN DENIM MADE IN GERMANY

Some days ago my buddy OLIVER BREMERICH c/o BREMERICH JEANS send me a box full of BLAUMANN Products to check these. The word BLAUMANN stands in Germany normally for an easy working overall – or just generally for pure and simple working clothes. At first I thought, okay, for sure another product jumping on this heritage train, just another raw denim jeans … but I was really surprised about this original well done and stand alone German product. The “Schmaler Blaumann”, which means Tapered Fit, is a perfect fitting piece made of 15oz Kuroki Denim woven on shuttle looms from Japan. So: the denim is made in Japan, but the cut and the production, the stitching of the pants is completely done in Germany. All materials except the denim cotton, the tags, buttons, yarns and the lining for the pockets are made in Germany. A great idea while a lot of fuckers nowadays send there stuff to somewhere to produce it with child hands and people earning money under minimum wages. The pants are available in 32 and 34 inch length but are about 11 cm longer because these shall be worn with a turn up. It would be shame not to show the wonderful selvage stitch. Okay the price is not the lowest, but for a raw denim more than acceptable compared to others. Check the pics for wonderful details the BLAUMANN men put to their product … I like this a lot! With the raw denim shirt named “SCHMALES BLAUMANN-HEMD”, which means slim fit shirt, is made of 8oz Kuroki denim and all the other materials are made in Germany too. GOLDBERNER DRY GIN & GYLD “KRAEUTERELIXIER” BY THE ELWERT BROTHERS IN BAVARIA, GERMANY

Some weeks ago I went to a small fair in Mainz which travels through Germany the “Stijl DesignMarkt”. There I met one of the Elwert Brothers and picked up a new GIN and a liquor made of 11 precious herbs called GYLD. After I tried both I must tell you that both are amazing – the taste is very well. GYLD is a well balanced mix of german and some foreign herbs f. ex. ginger, vanilla, cardamom and star anis. The taste is so unique and smooth. As I remember the father of the Elwerts was a pharmacist in 3rd-generation in Böhmenkirch near Augsburg, Bavaria, and he developed and sold this liquor to the folks who appreciated now named GYLD as a well healing medicine: A so called “Lebenselixir” in german – an elixir for life. 2013 the Elwert brothers began to promote GYLD in a new and temporary way. Furthermore they created a new DRY GIN named “GOLDBERNER” and the peppermint liquor “WEISSER PFEFFER” (white pepper). The peppermint liquor I did not tried yet. “GOLDBERNER” is a wonderful fresh and natural tasting GIN done from the ingredients and botanicals of GYLD with an incisive note of juniper and spurs of orange peel. JUST SOME X-MAS PRESENT IDEAS | #07 LEATHER KEY HOLDER by EMMA OPITZ LEDERLINGE

A nice key holder is a must. I own a lot of keys to put in order: several keys for home, office … my beloved Orange Beast and the car of my wife. All keys get hold be a LEDERLING (engl. Leather thing) hand made by EMMA OPITZ. These nice helper are made completely by hand in a little manufacture in Berlin, Germany. Every piece of EMMA OPITZ is a one of a kind, always a bit different from the one done before. The owner of EMMA OPITZ, Marc Türkheim, learned the famous knot that holds all this LEDERLINGE together by his grandma – it is a nice story! You can get several types of key holder and other leather accessories. The big ones I own are called “Bismark“ and the small one is a special custom thing which was made for KAMI, owner of B74. He gave me this key holder as a present – damn, I like this so much! The 2 “Bismarks” I got from volls.de. BYRD POMADE | HAIRDO PRODUCTS

At first just a “Must-Have-Thing” because of BYRDs the wonderful classic and simple design. Love this. But now – a “Must-Have-Thing” because of the perfect use and results. Found these great pomades @ Soul Objects, Berlin, Germany – where else? And my secret of the perfect use is to use both pomades at the same time – just mixed up. This is an unbeatable mixture in look and hold. Usually I don’t like water-based pomades so much because if you did your style, your pomp must last for the rest of the day. When you use a wax based one you always can re-style your pomp or hairdo, but sometimes you need the hold of a water based pomade … so … easy … mix’em up. And I love the citron smell of both so much.
