IN THE LAND OF THE PIG THE BUTCHER IS KING | SWEATSHIRT

got this wonderful sweatshirt as a x-mas present with one of the best printeds i ever read. beside, i love everything about meat so much, especially a good steak. when i checked the BUTCHER OF BLUE website about two weeks ago a lot of sizes where available. right now: just a few pieces in XXL are left. it seems, that there are more BUTCHER fans around. the quality of the sweater, the print and the fit are perfect – really nice! pics | LTG

GOLDEN BEAR | ORANGE MELTON WOOL SLIM FIT BARRACUDA JACKET

if you read the LTG blog frequently, you know that i am a great fan of orange colored things. this autumn, i got that wonderful GOLDEN BEAR jacket. its color is called TEXAS ORANGE and the label inside says it was made in july 2013 especially for AMTRAQ distribution of GB in middle europe. the cut is named #15 and for me it is a classic VARSITY JACKET. it has a lot of fantastic details and it is so well done. this is highest quality as it has to be for a LIFE TIME GEAR piece … great. beside, i got my MELTON WOOL SLIM FIT BARRACUDA JACKET from B-74 in frankfurt, germany. please check the GOLDEN BEAR site for the story behind this great heritage company if you do not know by far. pics | LTG

JOHNSON MOTORS INC. DEADSTOCK DENIM

yes, today i got another xmas present. FRED c/o redwing.1905 blog brought me a special piece of denim from LOS ANGELES which he picked up there two weeks ago: a wonderful JOMO jeans made of vintage deadstock raw denim with a lot of details. thanks to SEAN, JULIO and EDDY from JOMO, LA. i think the denim is about 14.oz and the structure of the cotton is really interesting and looking old school. very nice the two different seams at the back pockets – good idea. my pant is the first made with this closed top button; the buttons before have had a whole in the middle. the legs are open seemed and the fit is really tight and tapered. for sure this rare piece of denim is handmade at JOMO headquater in LA by taylor JULIO. NEW BELT FOR THE LIFE TIME GEAR BUCKLE | by FEINSCHMUCK x ALEX v. BRONWESKI c/o BECAUSE BLOG

last week i got my awesome LTG buckel made by FEINSCHMUCK back with a new dark chocolate brown leather belt. this was well done by ALEXANDER v. BRONEWSKI who is doing the great BECAUSE blog. now the belt is perfect. it is made of a very nice and strong SCHACHENMEYER leather and ALEX did the perfect size for me: best fit! and he put a really great surprise on to the belt: inside the belt he embossed my initials EJ and LTG with two stars. great idea! thank you so much ALEX! pics | LTG

10 MUST-HAVE-X-MAS-PRESENTS | #09 | TANNER GOODS WORKMAN WALLET

i love my wallets from TANNER GOODS. so i needed these in black and oxblood. as you see in the pics below the oxblood colored is my favorit. i own it now for a year and since i got it, i wore it nearly everyday. just changed sometimes to the black one or the TANNER GOODS card holder. the wallets are made of 3.5 oz HORWEEN CHROMEXCEL, feature four cards slots in which you can put easily more than just one card, two interior pockets for cash and receipts, one zippered coin pocket, which i do not use because of avoiding my cards crashing. each wallet is burnished, dyed, waxed and stamped with the TANNER GOODS signature maker’s mark by hand. the oxblood wallet i usually combine with the original LONG TETHER and sometimes with a lanyard from PETER FIELDS. the black one i combine with an OBBI GOOD LABEL wallet chain i got from BURG & SCHILD.
