Hi guys, first of all, I hope you start 2017 well! I will start this year with one of my most favorit topics: CHEVY CAMARO. Found this crazy concept just some days ago at “superchevy.com”. How does Keith Kaucher write to the point: “How many poor souls have lost their prized Camaro because of a new arrival to the family? Admittedly, the Camaro has never been at the top of the list when it comes to a practical family car.” It is the same with me today with my 5th gen. Mostly I drive my orange beast alone, but that’s for sure okay ;-))) So this concept from 2009 could have been the solution for a hybrid between a Camaro and a Sport Wagon. The 68 front is combined by 68 – 72 GM mid-size wagon roof narrowed to fit the F-body.
KAUTCHER CUSTOMS brought this concept to real with a 69′ Camaro. Isn’t it awesome?!

As a passionated CAMARO lover I got touched so much by this news. damn, so much work here the last days. sorry for the blog post delay, but it’s even better: it’s more than 4 weeks ago i picked up these 2 great motive shirts made by BRACK CUSTOM GRAPHICS @ vollls.de. i didn’t have the time to take off the price tags. okay, i decided to do a blog post before i will remove the tags … so it happened this evening – finally. you must know, i’m not really a friend of motive shirts, but there are some exceptions like the one – for sure not all prints! – from f.ex. JOHNSON MOTORS, FAT BOY CLOTHING, CXXVI CLOTHING CO or THE REAL McCOYS. when i saw these special drag race retro shirts for the first time at a facebook post done by my buddy KLAUS VOLL, i knew i must get these as a huge us car and custom culture aficionado. the shirts are made by HARRY BRACK, a graphic designer „who grew up in the 1970s surrounded by Hanna Barbera, Hot Wheels and monsters. Influenced by artists such as Robert Williams, Jim Phillips, Jim Flora and others, his greatest inspiration today comes from the subculture, particularly the car and motorcycle clubs, garages and the racing festival he is organizing. yes, yes, yes – this is it! i love the #101 – the POSTMAN. my first pair was a present from KLAUS c/o VOLLS.DE. i know this post is something special for shoe nerds … but sorry, this is a RED WING SHOE for real RED WING LOVERS and not for fashion pussies! and the best: the customized #101 means for me one step further. hm, what do you think? would you prefer the one with the original cushion sole or the customized #101 one with the nitrile black cork sole, you may know f.ex. from RED WING’S black IRON RANGER #8114? i love the #101 look with this heel construction. it reminds me a classic U.S. navy officer shoe. but i like both and i won’t give one of them away because for me they are different shoes. KAMI c/o RED WING SHOE STORE FRANKFURT/GERMANY made the customized #101 for me. i can’t remember if the first miles with the original #101 hurt so much as they do with the customized one. damn. everyday i wear them just a few hours indoor and i am happy to get them off. but … it’s okay. the day will come when they got broken – this shoe is worth the trouble! pics | LTG

half a year ago i did a blog post about a KUDU INDY BOOT by ALDEN for BUREAU BELFAST and i was really fascinated about this great looking antelope leather. BUREAU BELFAST right now got 2 other KUDU styles from ALDEN: a BLUCHER and a WORK BOOT. both fitted with a custom vibram sole, dark brown eyelets, flat cotton laces and a reverse split welt. the rare KUDU leather has an oil finish. certainly is this ALDEN stuff hand made in the USA. what a wonderful footwear! pics | The Bureau Belfast
