isn’t that a wonderful combination? i love it. the knife is made by PassionFrance® and the style is named LONDON. it is a maritime knife and because of this i like the combination of the stingray patterned bronze hook with the golden anchor – perfect content. next time i will do a special blog post about this wonderful knife. the hook is massive bronze and very well done – hand made by MARIA and MANFRED STROPPE c/o FEINSCHMUCK. ALEXANDER V. BRONEWSKI, who does the well known and fine because.blog, works also for FEINSCHMUCK. he gave me the simple but very nice and durable lace made of kangaroo leather. FEINSCHMUCK does a lot of hooks with different patterns and a lot of more fine accessories made of bronze and other materials. at their website you will find a list of stores where you can buy this beautiful stuff. last week i got my awesome LTG buckel made by FEINSCHMUCK back with a new dark chocolate brown leather belt. this was well done by ALEXANDER v. BRONEWSKI who is doing the great BECAUSE blog. now the belt is perfect. it is made of a very nice and strong SCHACHENMEYER leather and ALEX did the perfect size for me: best fit! and he put a really great surprise on to the belt: inside the belt he embossed my initials EJ and LTG with two stars. great idea! thank you so much ALEX! pics | LTG

i love my wallets from TANNER GOODS. so i needed these in black and oxblood. as you see in the pics below the oxblood colored is my favorit. i own it now for a year and since i got it, i wore it nearly everyday. just changed sometimes to the black one or the TANNER GOODS card holder. the wallets are made of 3.5 oz HORWEEN CHROMEXCEL, feature four cards slots in which you can put easily more than just one card, two interior pockets for cash and receipts, one zippered coin pocket, which i do not use because of avoiding my cards crashing. each wallet is burnished, dyed, waxed and stamped with the TANNER GOODS signature maker’s mark by hand. the oxblood wallet i usually combine with the original LONG TETHER and sometimes with a lanyard from PETER FIELDS. the black one i combine with an OBBI GOOD LABEL wallet chain i got from BURG & SCHILD. HANDCRAFTED BAG #214 BY ATELIER DE L’ARMÉE

some weeks ago i got this BAG214 from ATELIER DE L’ARMÉE. it is wonderful, so practical. just one zip and you get to all the things you carry with you. as a business bag i prefer my FILSON PADDED COMPUTER BAG, but for city trips or just visiting a friend it is not so practical, too heavy, to big. the 214 has a lot of features. outside it is made of deadstock cowhide leather and dutch army woodland camouflage battleshirt fabric. one bag inside is made of japanese selvage denim, an iphone bag is made of cowhide leather and the lining is made of dutch army thermo pant and rain poncho. the handles and the strap are made of swiss army rifle slings. these must be really vintage: the smell strong. but it gets better from week to week. the tote bag is completely made by hand in amsterdam, netherlands, and can be made to order. it takes about 4 to 6 weeks between purchase and delivery. take a look @ the video where you will meet ELZA WANDLER and JOOST DOESWIJK who are ATELIER DE L’ARMÉE. pics | LTG || vid | ATELIER DE L’ARMÉE

HANDCRAFTED LEATHER BANDANA RING | ATELIER DE L’ARMÉE

wonderful simple leather bandana ring made of 1960’s swiss army leather, which is from rifle slings. stamped with the ATELIER D L’ARMÉE and some unreadable words. the smell of this 50 yera old leather is really heavy but ALEX from awesome because-blog will send me some special leather conditioner which kills all these “muff” and turns it into a breeze of sweet marzipan. pics | LTG

SHOE SOLE RINGS by HENDER SCHEME | A-MUST-HAVE FOR THE SHOE & BOOT MANIAC

what a simple but wonderful idea: rings made of shoe soles. i think a must-have-accessoire for shoe & boot maniacs. these nice leather pieces i found @ canadian HAVEN SHOP made by japanese shoe & boot maker HENDER SCHEME known from FREE & EASY, CLUTCH and POPEYE magazines. please check their website: it is very well done with some nice effects. the rings are made of the same materials the shoes of HENDER SCHEME are made, stacked together and polished. they are available in 3 colors: in a natural, dark brown and black finish. i think by wearing these rings they will get better and better. hey, let’s do a VIBRAM ring! pics | HAVEN & HENDER SCHEME

BOOT OF THE DAY | #178 | ALDEN FOR BUREAU BELFAST “KUDU PLAIN TOE BLUCHER & WORK BOOT“

half a year ago i did a blog post about a KUDU INDY BOOT by ALDEN for BUREAU BELFAST and i was really fascinated about this great looking antelope leather. BUREAU BELFAST right now got 2 other KUDU styles from ALDEN: a BLUCHER and a WORK BOOT. both fitted with a custom vibram sole, dark brown eyelets, flat cotton laces and a reverse split welt. the rare KUDU leather has an oil finish. certainly is this ALDEN stuff hand made in the USA. what a wonderful footwear! pics | The Bureau Belfast
