What a wonderful boot! When I had to compose a boot for my own it could have the same look as this ALDEN available @ FRANS BOONE did with. From the bootleg to the sole – just perfect. Love the chocolate structured grain calf leather combined with one of my most beloved soles: the ALDEN crepe sole with a leather tip. Combine this great look: the brass eyelets and hooks. Chukkas are not my cup of coffee, but the new RWS CHUKKAS #9215 and #9216 might be. Because RW put one of my absolut favorite soles these: the durable but lightweight neoprene cushion sole. The FOREMAN CHUKKAS are available in two leathers: dark rich brown BRIAR OIL SLICK and BLACK HARNESS. The look is timeless – a classic chukka. i am everything but not an expert for beer. i prefer vine and when i drink a beer it is mostly a german brewed one from the north like BECK’S, JEVER or FLENSBURGER – it is important that the beer tasts dry. but when i went to MARUHN – THE WORLDS OF DRINKS some weeks ago i found this nice labeled bottles. i don’t know anything about their tast but i had to take’em with me because of the wonderful graphic design and the look. beside, i am excited too about the question of taste … all bottles contain PALE ALE … okay? let’s try! pics | LTG

it’s cold in middle germany. so one important piece is missing – i could not take a nice photo of it: a NIGEL CABOURN MACKINTOSH clip coat i own now for more than 6 years. so guys – just 3 weeks left till xmas. i will give you the weblinks for actual available stuff i show here. pics | LTG
i just own 3 IRON HEART shirts and i love these so much. after some stiffness when wearing the 11 and 12oz shirts the first times, they got smoother and smoother and meanwhile i am so satisfied of best fit and a great comfort feeling. and i think, that these will never be broken down – life time gear – what a great quality. the care isn’t a problem: cold wash, inside out and taking at once out of the wash machine when ready you don’t even need to iron it. no shrinking, nothing. these shirts are made in japan and have a lot of nice details you can check up in the photos. in fall i wore the shirts as a jacket, sometimes combined with a vest depending on the weather conditions. here i combined the shirts with deadstock indigo duck canvas JACK/KNIFE hunting vest and a JOE McCOy bandana. the shirts and the bandana are available @ volls.de and the vest is from B-74, frankfurt, germany. pics | LTG
when i sold my cargo BULLIT bike i had to check another possibility to transport larger shopping stuff when i am on the road with my SCHINDELHAUER. so i remembered me the days before i got my BULLIT: yes, in the closet there had be a big CANOE PACK from DULUTH. i knew why i did not sell this wonderful backpack. it’s unbelievable what you can put into this 19H x 18W x 6D pack. when i shop food i use a special basket which i bought with the pack. believe me, this is really practicable and easy to carry. the #2 CRUISER COMBO is made in the usa & guaranteed for life. by standard it is made in olive drab or waxed 18-ounce canvas but a lot of other colors from blue to orange are available too. for more information check the DULUTH site. be careful there are a lot of other must-have bags and packs … pics | LTG
some weks ago i got this wonderful TELLASON shirt from UWE E.MAIER c/o AMTRAQ DISTRIBUTION. it is the classic 8 oz. canvas CLAMPDOWN shirt which was khaki before it was dyed with nature indigo. this was done by the crop-dye factory in NEUBRANDENBURG, germany which does all the indigo dyed MERZ B. SCHWANEN shirts. the first run was limited to 24 pieces … mine is #04. i love this irregular nature dying. you can get this shirt just at selected dealers here in germany f.ex.
