WORKADAY WALLET by TANNER GOODS

What a lucky break. When visiting KAMI c/o B74 in Frankfurt some days ago, i found this nice little wallet lying in a glass cabinet. Didn’t noticed this TANNER GOODS classic before. It is their so called “WORKADAY WALLET” with enough space for many banknotes and a lot of cards. Great to put this little thing in the back pocket of your denim or chino. It is combined with waxed canvas and smooth leather. KAMI told me that there was a special edition which combined leather with this f***ing nice flashy orange hunting canvas. If anyone still has one of these please send me a message – thx. Isn’t the combination with my vintage TANNER GOODS card holder great? I wanna use the WW just for notes, not for cards. The other WW is owned by KAMI. He has his WW in use for about one year. TUSCAN HUNTING VEST by GRP

A while ago I went with my family to MANUFACTUM, Frankfurt/Main as we often do on Saturdays. It’s great to have breakfast there … such kind service, best selfmade food and a great view to the “Alte Oper” (opera) Frankfurt. After breakfast we walk around looking about. Just nice. So I found this nice Tuscan Hunting Vest by Italian manufacture GRP which I mostly know for their well done knitted fabrics. Saw this vest … had to take it with me. I love this style, this large curved pockets. Nice to wear with its 100% chambray cotton lining. It is made of cotton, has 2 front pockets, 1 small breast pocket and a large back pocket as usual for hunting vests. Really practicable: 2 inside pockets with zippers. The buttons are made of horn – very nice. The vest isn’t too heavy, nearly smooth. You can get it directly from MANUFACTUM’s online store. pics | LTG

RED WING HERITAGE NEWS | THE FOREMAN CHUKKA – STYLES #9215 & 9216

Chukkas are not my cup of coffee, but the new RWS CHUKKAS #9215 and #9216 might be. Because RW put one of my absolut favorite soles these: the durable but lightweight neoprene cushion sole. The FOREMAN CHUKKAS are available in two leathers: dark rich brown BRIAR OIL SLICK and BLACK HARNESS. The look is timeless – a classic chukka. RED WING SHOES #8853 & #8852 | THE BLACK TRACTION TRED SOLE IS BACK … IN JAPAN

do you remember the days when – i do not now the number of the boot – the #875 looking RWS with a black traction tred cushion crepe wedge sole were for sale @ RED WING SHOE STORE FRANKFURT? oh damn, this is really a long time ago. OLLI THE BARBER owns one of these – always nice to see. it is a great color combination the brown leather with this fat black sole. RED WING JAPAN does now a blue – so f***ing awesome – and a brown boot with this nice black sole: the #8853 & #8852. aren’t they nice? the blue leather of the #8853 is called “INDIGO PORTAGE” and the brown one “VELVA RETAIN” like used to the BROGUE RANGER #8128. i think these will not come to europe because the average european RED WING consumer mostly prefers the white traction tred sole or a boot from the IRON RANGER range. a MOC TOE with a black is too exotic. we will see. the #8128 is on the top of my sales list! pics | © THREEWOOD, japan

KNIVES FROM HOHENMOORER MESSERMANUFAKTUR | LTG REPLACES COOKING TOOLS

PRESENTATION OF RED WING POST & RED WING MUNSON IRON RANGER #8012 @ RED WING STORE FRANKFURT

two days ago i did a trip to B-74 & AMTRAQ DISTRIBUTION order show in FRANKFURT/MAIN to check new stuff and meet some friends. at this evening there was the presentation of the #01 issue RED WING POST and the RWS MUNSON IRON RANGER style #8012 at the RWS STORE FRANKFURT. the publicatiobn and the boot … both are very well done and it was nice that this news were celebrated with a little party along with friends and RED WING aficionados. thx to KAMI, owner of RWS STORE FRANKFURT, and his team for this nice evening. and folks, pick up your free issue of the RED WING POST at your RED WING STORE in FRANKFURT, BERLIN, HAMBURG or MUNICH – the publication is only available at these stores! and it is a must to take a look at the awesome MUNSON boot which is strictly limited and also just available in the RWS stores. pics | LTG

OPTIMIST | THE SHIRT WITH A STORY

KAMI owner of B-74 and RED WING STORE FRANKFURT, GERMANY, send me some pics of a very nice new shirt: the OPTIMIST SHIRT. this shirt is manufactured by SANGAR, the biggest and oldest shirt making factory in ESTONIA. it is built „with love and care from durable unwashed denim or chambray. these shirt with nicely shaped patch pockets can be worn as light jackets over a dress shirt or tank top, or by itself …“ made of high quality materials from italy. read about the history of OPTIMIST below and enjoy the nice box design – wonderful. D-A-D – 30 YEARS 30 HITS 30 GIGS | SIGNED LIMITED CD

time is running: this year one of my absolute favorite bands ever D-A-D celebrates its 30th birthday. i wasn’t a fan from the beginning because of don’t knowing this danish great rockin’ guys. but  i remember that my first album was from 1987. it was “D.A.D DRAWS A CIRCLE”. i love the songs on it till today … and they never will get out of style: just rockin’ without any fuckin’ shit around … hand made, straight, honest, melodic, sometimes harder, sometimes smoother … catchy … thanks guys for 30 years of this! two weeks ago i got my limited signed anniversary album: BEST OF D-A-D 30 YEARS 30 HITS 1984 – 2014. very well done: good choice of the songs and wonderful cover with embossed types and the signatures of JESPER (voc) and JACOB BINZER (gui), STIG PEDERSEN (bass) and LAUST SONNE (drums). so, see you in may @ BATSCHKAPP, frankfurt, germany, to have a birthday party. i do not know how often i’ve seen this great band – but i know, it could be never too often. and JESPER respect: good stlye. like your 2-tone WOLVERINE 1000 MILES boots – i got the same dark brown/black colored … pics | LTG, facebook D-A-D

GOLDEN BEAR | ORANGE MELTON WOOL SLIM FIT BARRACUDA JACKET

if you read the LTG blog frequently, you know that i am a great fan of orange colored things. this autumn, i got that wonderful GOLDEN BEAR jacket. its color is called TEXAS ORANGE and the label inside says it was made in july 2013 especially for AMTRAQ distribution of GB in middle europe. the cut is named #15 and for me it is a classic VARSITY JACKET. it has a lot of fantastic details and it is so well done. this is highest quality as it has to be for a LIFE TIME GEAR piece … great. beside, i got my MELTON WOOL SLIM FIT BARRACUDA JACKET from B-74 in frankfurt, germany. please check the GOLDEN BEAR site for the story behind this great heritage company if you do not know by far. pics | LTG

as a great POPEYE fan i own my talisman from FEINSCHMUCK since they’ve done the first pieces one year ago. beside the talisman, FEINSCHMUCK does a POPEYE BELT BUCKLE and different POPEYE ZIPPOS. all pieces are manufactured by hand by the small FEINSCHMUCK team in bavaria, germany. these pieces are made of bronze and you can get it with patina or without. in germany you find this great stuff at PETER FIELDS, berlin, and B-74 in frankfurt, main. pics | Alexander v.
