yesterday i got my new iPad Air2 SLEEVE handmade by my budy ALEX c/o be-cause blog and owner & founder of ALEXANDER VON BRONEWSKI MANUFAKTUR. what a wonderful piece of craftmanship. the touch is so great, so natural smooth and the fit for the iPad is perfect. italian high-end eyewear and sunglasses manufacturer L.G.R. did a collaboration with KLAR, my favorite optician at my hometown DARMSTADT, germany. AKRAM, owner of KLAR, send me a short video teaser of the collab – really interesting! so i did some pics of this special sunglasses handmade in italy. L.G.R. and KLAR did a strictly 20 limited pieces model which has a special color combination just used for this collab. every piece has its own product number from 1 to 20, a special case and a cleaning cloth with a L.G.R. X KLAR print. the glass is made by BABERINI, polarized in grey/blue – one of the best real glasses you can get today. beside these sunglasses KLAR sells certainly other collections from L.G.R. f.ex. the wonderful and although limited SAFARI COLLECTION. pics | LTG
2 months ago i did a post about my VIBERG SERVICE BOOT 1950 in black with a DAINITE SOLE. todays #26 boot of my collection is the same boot just brown colored with another sole, the WHITE CRISTY VIBRAM 4014. as the pics show, i did not wear this boot so often. i prefer the black SERVICE BOOT with its DAINITE SOLE much more. i think this sole fits the look of the boot much better. the #4014 is comfortable but it looks like a contemporary compromise to me. when i wear this boot sometimes i think if i wear a hybrid between a RED WING BOOT and a VIBERG. for sure this VIBERG SERVICE BOOT is a really perfect and best made boot but not my favorite one. if it might be yours, you can get it @ volls.de. pics | LTG

that’s what social media is good for: i met ROY VAN CREIJ at facebook. and some day i saw these handmade crocheted bow ties that he posted. for me as a bow tie lover an absolute must-have. yesterday i got a letter from the netherlands with these two really nice looking and well done pieces for a nice price. it is easy to fit the ties with the two buttons in the back. i think the orange one has to be ordered too! isn’t that a wonderful gift for christmas? beside the bow ties ROY offers different sorts of bracelets at the MONSIEUR BOJANGLES etsy store. pics | LTG
