RISING SUN MFG CO. | OUTDOOR VEST INDIGO RAW

one of my absolute favorite vests which gets better and better with every wear. it is made of selvage indigo – look at the nice details. i like this hunting styled vest with its cinch back and chambray lining. i own another raw brown duck outdoor vest from RISING SUN which is much stiffer but as nice as the indigo one. great american made stuff! pics | LTG

isn’t that truck beautiful? maybe you remember that i did a post about ICON’s FORD BRONCO? the THRIFTMASTER was released november 2013 at SEMA. in 2014 los angeles based ICON will only build 5 ultimate THIRFTMASTER pick ups. each truck will be signed and sequentially numbered – for a pricing range from $220,000 to 250.000. in the future there will be a wider range of this beautiful remade truck. here some facts about the THIRFTMASTER: “This first, “Ultimate Edition” ICON Thriftmaster, comes in your choice of body color (matte or gloss finish), with your choice of manual or automatic transmission, naturally aspirated or with an intercooled supercharger. yesterday i got the information from the RWS HERITAGE central europe, that the 5 new POSTMAN styles are now available @ the RWS dealers around europe. so one of the most beloved but at the same time hated styles the #101 now gets a fashion touch – with all this new colors and mostly because of the white RWS cushion crepe outsole which is really important for a lot, maybe the most of all the RWS lovers. for me, there is only one POSTMAN: the #101. here some information from RWS HERITAGE: “Red Wing Heritage proudly presents 5 new Postman shoes,  inspired by style no.101,  Red Wing’s original postman shoe. Designed, to meet Postal Service requirements,  the 101 is sturdy, sleek and simplistic and these characteristics served America’s, mailmen well. First introduced in 1954, Red Wing is now expanding on this style with five more casual variations. The new Postman shoes are built using the same leather upper as the 101 including a dog tail, blind eyelets and a Goodyear, Welt. Premium Red Wing leathers,  made at Red Wing Shoe’s very own S.B. STOERTEBEKER BERNSTEIN WEIZEN – AMBER WHEAT BEER | THE ART OF BREWING

i never tried and drank a better tasting alcohol-free beer! i am not really a specialist in rating the taste of beer. my favorite alcoholic drink is vine especially RIESLING and SAUVIGNON BLANC or heavy, extra dry, but fruity red vines from italy or germany or an ice cold GIN TONIC. but when i picked up a special wheat beer for a friend last week at MARUHN, the world largest beer market of the world, i found this really originally beer box of STOERTEBEKER. after i was running or biking i like to drink isotonic beers, especially wheat beer: no calories, no alcohol, but refreshing. so i drank the most time ERDINGER which is promoted by a lot of sportsmen, but believe me, the STOERTEBEKER “BERNSTEIN WEIZEN” is a tasty sensation: fruit aromas, smooth malty and a little bit sweet with soft caramel notes, … wonderful. the color is great too, this gave the beer its name: BERNSTEIN – amber. beside this WEIZEN, the STOERTEBEKER MANUFACTURE BREWERY has a lot of other different good sounding beer sorts, like f.ex. WHISKY BEER, ATLANTIC-ALE, BERNSTEIN WEIZEN with alcohol, HANSE PORTER. and funny, the BEER BOX you see below got the “WORLD STAR FOR PACKING” in 2012, which means that this box is the nicest beer box of the world and this box caught my eyes too! in january the brewery got again five – 5! – gold medals for different beer sorts from the german agriculture company (DLG)! if you do not find STOERTEBEKER at your local beer dealer you can order your own “KARTON” with the sorts you want to try. pics | LTG

isn’t that a wonderful combination? i love it. the knife is made by PassionFrance® and the style is named LONDON. it is a maritime knife and because of this i like the combination of the stingray patterned bronze hook with the golden anchor – perfect content. next time i will do a special blog post about this wonderful knife. the hook is massive bronze and very well done – hand made by MARIA and MANFRED STROPPE c/o FEINSCHMUCK. ALEXANDER V. BRONEWSKI, who does the well known and fine because.blog, works also for FEINSCHMUCK. he gave me the simple but very nice and durable lace made of kangaroo leather. FEINSCHMUCK does a lot of hooks with different patterns and a lot of more fine accessories made of bronze and other materials. at their website you will find a list of stores where you can buy this beautiful stuff. ORDERSHOW AMTRAQ @ B-74 IN FRANKFURT/MAIN

last thursday i took a ride to B-74 with my brother to join the ordershow of AMTRAQ. i was not in the mood to check up new stuff and so i did just some people shots, talked a lot with friends and had a very nice meal with all the guys and girls at RITZ ffm around the corner B-74. thx DIRK for the invitation. it was nearly a familial atmosphere there two days ago, because a lot of people left the show to get some days off before the next event starts at ZURICH, switzerland next tuesday. pics | LTG
